changing the word "welcome"

i wanted to no after u sign in to vista the word welcome comes up b4 u go to the desktop. can u change that word?

currently the only modification for the logon process in Vista is changing the background of the login screen

you can change XP all you want, but not Vista. sorry

Seems like a lot of work for changing a word. Besides, if you mess something up in there, you could even keep the Windows from booting correctly. Do you really want that? I like having the verbose messages display in Vista (it can be enabled) and in Server 08 (they are on by default)

And it's a lot less dangerous than hacking the logon.exe.mui file...

Not if you know what youre doing.. Beside. You dont have to do all the things he did in the tutorial, all i did was to load the file into restorator, change the line in the text file, save and voila.
