lol "oblivion with guns" indeed

i'm disappointed that you can't continue to roam around the world after the end tho.

what i liked about oblivion was that after i finished the main quest line i could still go back to the other cities and stuff

ah well

still a great game (Y)

You'll be able to continue after the third DLC pack comes out in (I think) March. It also raises the level limit from 20.

I was hoping the DLC would raise the level cap. It's not going to happen until the third release though? That's a shame, I was hoping the first batch of content would do it.

Yeah that was one thing about the game that really bugged me.

That, and the level cap is way to low imo

From what I've heard, the absolute furthest you can go in the game and retaining the ability to free roam, is right near the end when you attack with the BoS, The Lyons girl asks if you're ready, say no and walk away, they'll wait for you and you can continue playing without issue.

^ That's where I have it last saved so it's not a huge deal, I just find it weird that they wouldn't let you continue the game after finishing it.

Yeah, depressing end, but I think that was on purpose.

What did you guys do at Tenpenny tower? I want the ghoul mask but don't want to kill some of the residents :/

I killed the residents. Just like I did at Megaton, Rivet City, Big Town, etc.

I would have kept playing but once I hit the level cap, I was like what's the point.

That lvl 20 cap is ridiculously low, only real complaint I have with the game.

I don't honestly see why it needs to be raised actually. For the number of quests in the game it currently seems about right. I've done all the major side quests bar one or two now and have maybe 2/3 of the main one left and I'm at level 15. I doubt I'll hit 20 too far before the end of the game.

Unless they add alot of content or perks I don't see the point in raising the cap currently. It would sort of destroy the entire levelling system if it's made uncapped and you can just grab every perk to your hearts content. In fact the importance placed in picking traits propperly in Fallout 3 is one of the major improvements over Oblivion IMHO and makes levelling alot more meaningful where in Oblivion I had no incentive really to get even to level 10 before finishing the game and a good amount of the side quests.

I wouldn't mind it going to 25 or 30 but they'll need to add alot more content to make it worth while and to avoid watering down the system.

I still laugh every time it says "head incapacitated" or whatever it says at the exact time as it's exploding in slow motion.

I was planning to let the ghouls into the tower, but when i went to see Roy in the tunnels I got sick of him mouthing off at me so i introduced his face to my shotgun

Yes I was trying to do the good thing with Roy too and scare him off, possibly into giving me some kind of a bribe for not attacking and telling that guy at the tower they were dead. Roy wanted no part in that so I had to kill him, his wife, and that guard which gave me some evil karma! :(

Luckily, I still think I have the highest good karma though.

the first time i let the ghouls in and they killed everyone and it was kind of lame. now im going to let a few in peacefully ...

I killed everyone.

Let the ghouls in because the residents in Tenpenny Tower annoyed me, then I proceeded to killing all the ghouls after

    • I don't hate the new menus, I am not a fan of the lack of features and how they went live when they clearly are not complete. The menu itself presents much better than the previous - but what's lacking (IMO) is: 1) Any kind of automated manipulation such as: "this goes on the new menu because you use this feature more often on this filetype" "this is rarely used and will fall back to the old menu" 2) Any kind of user manipulation such as: "a UI to add/remove/order items to the new menu"
    • The biggest issue in this version of Win 11 context menu, from usability standpoint, is the movable row with basic commands. Think of a car analogy...if You turn the week left the infotainment screen will move right and vice versa. With how it works now Microsoft made something forbidden in designing in any UI, software or hardware. I can't grasp who were the morons within Microsoft suggesting it was a good idea and gave it a green light.

Support and documentation is free from our large, dedicated community of users, contributors and developers. You, too, can also get involved! Choosing Between LibreOffice Still and LibreOffice Fresh: LibreOffice Still is a good choice if you value stability, a longer support cycle, and a more conservative approach to software updates. It's suitable for businesses and organizations where reliability and compatibility are crucial. LibreOffice Fresh is ideal if you're an enthusiast or an early adopter who wants to stay on the cutting edge of LibreOffice development and is willing to accept more frequent updates and occasional minor issues. Features: Writer is the word processor inside LibreOffice. Use it for everything, from dashing off a quick letter to producing an entire book with tables of contents, embedded illustrations, bibliographies and diagrams. The while-you-type auto-completion, auto-formatting and automatic spelling checking make difficult tasks easy (but are easy to disable if you prefer). Writer is powerful enough to tackle desktop publishing tasks such as creating multi-column newsletters and brochures. The only limit is your imagination. Calc tames your numbers and helps with difficult decisions when you're weighing the alternatives. Analyze your data with Calc and then use it to present your final output. Charts and analysis tools help bring transparency to your conclusions. A fully-integrated help system makes easier work of entering complex formulas. Add data from external databases such as SQL or Oracle, then sort and filter them to produce statistical analyses. Use the graphing functions to display large number of 2D and 3D graphics from 13 categories, including line, area, bar, pie, X-Y, and net - with the dozens of variations available, you're sure to find one that suits your project. Impress is the fastest and easiest way to create effective multimedia presentations. Stunning animation and sensational special effects help you convince your audience. Create presentations that look even more professional than the standard presentations you commonly see at work. Get your collegues' and bosses' attention by creating something a little bit different. Draw lets you build diagrams and sketches from scratch. A picture is worth a thousand words, so why not try something simple with box and line diagrams? Or else go further and easily build dynamic 3D illustrations and special effects. It's as simple or as powerful as you want it to be. Base is the database front-end of the LibreOffice suite. With Base, you can seamlessly integrate into your existing database structures. Based on imported and linked tables and queries from MySQL, PostgreSQL or Microsoft Access and many other data sources, you can build powerful databases containing forms, reports, views and queries. Full integration is possible with the in-built HSQL database. Math is a simple equation editor that lets you lay-out and display your mathematical, chemical, electrical or scientific equations quickly in standard written notation. Even the most-complex calculations can be understandable when displayed correctly. E=mc2. LibreOffice also comes configured with a PDF file creator, meaning you can distribute documents that you're sure can be opened and read by users of almost any computing device or operating system.
