While I am definately buying it, I am ****ed off at some of the problems.. Spookie I am with you on the MG, if anyone has played Day of Defeat or hell any other WW2 game for that matter, they know the MG should be spraying to the sky after you press the trigger while standing and walking around.. Much less any other weapons..

It has its problems, as I called from the beginning because its being made by Treyarch, but it's still fun, and a new version/reskinning of COD4.. So I am still going to get it.

Still think its only a 8/10 at best

Maybe if Call of Duty hadn't have been released ;)

I'm still trying to work out why the hell we are back in Berlin. Didn't we do this in CoD2? Or was it CoD1? :laugh:

Treyarch shouldn't be allowed to develop games. They just put out average mediocre titles. But with Activision too busy beating the their own two franchises left (GH & this) like a dead horse it won't stop any time soon. So I plead with people not to buy this, it just makes them create more. :(

"A word of thumb I like to use is.... when promoting your game. Promote YOUR game. Don't compare it to another game, or reference what OTHER games did in the past, pitch YOUR game. I mean, you have lots of cool things you could talk about... like Nazi Zombies...."

It's nice temping for a friend who owns the only indie store in the area. We get Mirrors Edge next Tuesday apparently. :p ;)

lol @ ABs link I wonder if IW will try to sever ties with Activision after this release?

I just got my retail copy today. I think EBgames messed up and sold it early.. I thought it came out tomorrow (tuesday).

so I will be playing COD5 in 30 min, once my show is done :D

Yeah, my EBgames made a mistake and sold it 1 day early :D

I could of picked it up at 10am, but had no idea it was in stock

Multiplayer is better then expected. It is a little harder to level up however, and more levels of prestige mode.

What sucks so far, is you need to be level 15 to unlock some of the game types..

You only get a choice of 3 game types when you are under level 14.

I'm going to see what people have to say about it before I decide on purchasing the game or not. So be sure to post your thoughts after having played it a little bit.

Hopefully it's a good buy/play.

That's actually a good thing.. I kinda like that.. seperate the newbies from the big guns..

      Payday 2 engine upgrade adds 64-bit and DX11 support, drastically shrinks install size by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Payday 2, the most popular entry in the heisting game franchise, is getting a surprising update after all these years. This is slated to be a complete engine upgrade that will enhance almost every aspect of the 13-year-old title, targeting performance, loading times, file size, rendering backend, and more. Developer Sidetrack Games is planning a beta to test out the new version ahead of the full public launch. The development team today revealed that the long-awaited upgrade to the 64-bit architecture is happening with this Diesel 3.0 engine update. By letting the game use more ram than 4GB, it is said to improve stability and compatibility on most hardware. It should also help modders in the long term with implementing larger changes too. "While many of the changes are made on the backend and not everything will be visible to you guys because it is a massive rewrite of the entire codebase, there will be a lot of things that you can look forward to," Sidetrack explained. Payday 2 will also hop over from DirectX 9 to 11. Instead of visual improvements, this is slated to reduce the amount of VRAM used by the title, letting more lower-end hardware access the title and run it better. The Payday 2 Diesel Engine 3.0 update is entering open beta on June 30 for Steam users. No console release plans were announced today.
