[Official] Halo 3: ODST

I really do not think you have to Save manually. I do remember this being the case for Halo 3, but I am pretty positive I have not been saving manually and it does load up where I left off... If not, add me to the list of people who is going to be Pincredibly angry as I played a good two to three hours yesterday and got through like 3 missions... If I do not have them, I very well may stop playing honestly.

Gonna play FireFight with Munky right now, got 2 spaces, come join (Y)

Oh man would totally play, but I got some repair man coming to fix my fridge and he has not come yet. Will see if he leaves soon enough when he does come...

Just wanted to confirm I do think the game this time around Auto Saves... I had a tattoo appointment last night so I do pretty much recall just leaving to go to it, and as such I am pretty darn positive I did not Save & Quit, and I just loaded up my game and it was definitely where I left off.

Now if this damn refrigerator repair man would just show up.

I'm on the last part of the campaign, my god this campaign has been AWESOME. I hope we get to see more of these characters, i'm loving how they all interact and their personalities, Romeo and Buck

Something is up with Dare's face though, unless it's the art style.

Sorry, I was gonna play, and had trouble with internet :(

Was without it until this morning.

Will see if you guys are around tonight, I will join for sure.

Ah no worries, we played some FireFight for a bit, not much then we took a break and just messed around on Halo 3 MP (Y)

First off, I totally retract my statement about it Auto Saving. Apparently it DOES NOT. I beat the SP Campaign last night, so no big deal anymore that it does not, but out of curiosity I chose Resume Solo Campaign when the credits were done and it took me back like 2 hours before the ending. So just a heads up to people.

So I have to say, this was by far my favorite flow for a Halo Game. I liked the semi Open World aspect. It works real well in this regards. Other games that have tried this approach, most notably Far Cry 2, and have failed miserably, but Bungie did it right, so thats cool.

I really only have two complaints about the SP Campaign, and keep it mind I did it completely solo, no one else with me...

Buck is a dumb-ass. So toward the ending on the highway, when me and Buck are escorting the lady and the Engineer, it forced me to initially drive the Warthog while he was the gunner. That was beat. Other parts earlier in the game when AI said drive, I ignored them and manned the turret, and someone would drive. Buck refused and would just walk around and get stuck, so that was beat. He also would just randomly fall off and I would not realize it and I would have to drive back and pick him up. He was dumb. They made up for it a bit later when they let you man the tank, so that was better, but I would have preferred to be the gunner. That was pretty much the one and only case my AI squad-mates were dumb. All other parts were pretty solid.

It was incredibly, incredibly easy on Normal. I pretty much just leave all games to their default these days. While I am probably a better player than Normal with FPS's, when it comes to Campaigns, being my time is limited, I just want to play and enjoy them and be done with it, so I leave them as default as I do not necessarily need nor have the time for the challenge anymore. I am not even a big Halo player, I get spanked in MP, and I literally breezed through it never feeling challenged at all except for the very end part where there were a whole lot of guys at once, and even then I only had to die twice to beat it, and once was because I was being really stupid with the hammer guy. I wonder if it would have been the same experience if I just turned the notch up one. I will probably never know.

Really those are two very minor complaints coming from me, overall I thought it was an excellent experience and fun enough that it made me want to beat it ASAP. Granted it is pretty damn short though though, definitely an expansion rather than a full fledged stand-alone title.

Oh, and just one observation that ODST made me realize about ALL games (it was when you first meet the lady after doing the underground part)... Why is it that when you meet an AI character in a game and you both have to "find your way out," how does the other character know the exact route to take when they supposedly have no idea where they are going just like you? Just once I would love to see a character have me follow them and go the wrong way. Just once.

So I am definitely interested in checking out Firefight, it may be a light work day for me so might have some time a bit later on.

    • So the card is targeted at headphone users - so the review should be from someone that uses this - maybe I can review a card next time.
    • I have a older F4-210 NAS, it is pretty basic, the CPU is not the fastest by a long way and only 1GB of ram, but it works fine. I don't understand the need for A.I in a NAS. It seems like A.i is being shoved into everything, if we like it or not. i will stick to my old Terramsater NAS, thankfully the OS is not being updated. Also, got myself a small NAs built using a Raspberry Pi 5. iy usesd less energy, so stays on all the time. As for the unit above, if it is as reliable as my old Terramaster Nas, then it will be a good unit.
    • Gemini in Google Sheets can now help you debug and fix formula errors by David Uzondu Google has started rolling out an update to Gemini in Google Sheets that allows the AI to diagnose and fix formula errors in one click, as long as your Workspace admin has Gemini for Workspace in Sheets turned on. According to Google, the new feature can handle pretty much everything from basic arithmetic to very complex calculations. This ability to debug formula errors comes about two years after Google introduced basic formula generation with Gemini in Sheets. To create a formula with Gemini in Sheets, you open a spreadsheet on your computer and click Ask Gemini in the top right corner. You can also enter an equals sign in any cell and use a shortcut like Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows and Chrome OS, or Command + Ctrl + G on macOS. Once you open the side panel, you write a natural language prompt using your sheet references. For example, you can ask Gemini to divide goals by games, or to find cell C1 in range D:G. If for some reason, the formula Gemini generated doesn't work, or maybe you wrote the formula yourself, you can troubleshoot the issue directly inside the grid. When a cell shows an error message, you hover over it and click "Fix". This action opens the side panel where Gemini analyzes the data structure and automatically applies the fixes when they are ready. You can cancel the process at any time by clicking stop in the side panel. Image via Google Google has been pushing its Gemini integration in Google Sheets for a while now, steadily moving AI features from side panels directly into user spreadsheets. Last year, the Mountain View giant shipped an =AI() Function in Sheets that allowed users to run translation and text generation directly inside cells instead of using the side panel interface. Earlier this year, the company announced that Gemini in Sheets had reached near-human expert performance, achieving a 70.48% success rate on the SpreadsheetBench dataset.
    • I get what you are saying, If i go onto the Instagram site, it says log in with Facebook, but they are not allowed to link my account with Instagram until I do that. Maybe in the U.S, they can link them, but Privacy is not a thing in the U.S. the way things are going,l won;t be any better in the U.K.
