The Mini DisplayPort is downsized from the full sized DVI connector. The Mini DisplayPort can drive everything the big DVI can (30-inch displays).

$2500 for a P9400, 4GB RAM, 9400/ 9600, and 320GB hard drive.... that's a little steep. You can buy a comparable laptop for at least $1000 less.

It's a nice product, but I wish they'd have something along these lines in the standard Macbook size (13.3")... and, no, I don't mean the Air. That's a different style entirely.
