Not according to Wiki they don't. HDMI is limited to about half the resolution of DisplayPort.

Agreed, HDMI is great for TV stuffs, but it cant touch things like DVI/DP in the PC/Mac universe.

You can switch to save battery life, yes.

These educational rebates for University in Quebec really started to blow as of today. I could save like 10-15% before, but now I'm saving 60 bucks on a 1600 bucks laptop. Letdown here...

HDMI is DVI... just with a different connector with audio.

The maximum resolution for HDMI/ DVI is 2560?1600 and according to Wikipedia, "8.64 Gbit/s forward link channel supports high resolution monitors up to 2560?1600 with a single cable."

omg just saw all the updates, that was some F5 Mania, they sure do write damn fast (every time i F5'ed something else :p)

that display looks like a piece of crap tho, rest is fine, doesn't matter to me anyway.

kinda evil how they picked on vista, that was freakin cruel lol, they pointed vista vista is why we're so good, makes them sound not so good but only an cheap alternative.

One thing came to my mind, is that I'm actually glad to realize the clickable glass touch-pad is only made possible by Apple sticking to the 1 button mouse design.
