aussiefloyd_fan Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Thee computer is an old amd® k-62 533 mhz socket 7 sd ram 97mhz fsb pc133 i think 256MB ram..... 40Gb hard drive ..... i boot up and it lets me press a key to boot from cd... then it starts loading up and loads up stuff but before it will let me select where i will install it hangs on loading kernel debugger.dll the cd rom stops spinning and it does nothing my options? I tried pc100 ram but it would blue screen after 15 minutes. cpu is only minimally dusty not enough to make it overheat.... edit: i have another desktop that i could pop this hdd in install windows in it then after it finishes i will pop the drive back in the computer and ittl boot p .. right?
