However, since ATI is using this as their versioning system, would it really kill them, knowing that there is 12 months, to add an additional decibel?

8.01, 8.02, 8.03, 8.04, 8.05, 8.06, 8.07, 8.08, 8.09, 8.10, 8.11, 8.12.

It would also make it show up properly in list view too, in case anybody archives the bloody things.

if you're planning to pick up Far Cry 2 when it comes out, AMD released a hotfix version of the 8.10 drivers on Oct. 16th to fix something with that game.

well, i can't blame ATI for this one... stupid user error. I had seated the memory improperly.. apparently it was close enough for a couple days, eventually caused data corruption. I made sure the sticks were snug, re-installed VIsat 64bit, re-installed 8.10 dirvers. all good.
