Wow, no typing in bold?

So does this annoy you?

Grow up fella and let the mods run the boards, thats what they are there for

it was a typo

i mean stop WRITING THE TITLE OF THE THREAD IN CAPS IT IS annoying

that it

It's neat, but no trial? Really?

If anyone buys this (?16.50), please tell us about it. I'm not ready to splurge that amount of money on something that I have never used.

He also explicitly states that he won't answer any questions unless it deals with bugs...

No trial = warez version

for all we know this app could be the greatest thing or the biggest pos......

for $16.50 im not willing to gamble on it

Wow, the lengths people will go to to justify pirating software. Why not just be honest and say your a cheap a-hole and screw little indie developers?

I've had a beta of the program a while ago, and im telling ya - it is handy! I've always hated Segoe UI in Aero, and with Vista Style Builder i managed to change EVERY font to Tahoma, size 8.. you may think "meh lol" but trust me, the program has a lot of features and you can do so much with it that'd take ages by hex editing and ****.

Actually that is euro's... so yea about $22.

A trial version would have been a good idea to broaden your potential customer possibility.

How well does it's "import from XP msstyles" feature work? I'm curious to see what the output looks like...

Window frames and the Start menu don't work perfectly. Controls seem to work really well. For me that's a big plus as so far very few styles change the UI widgets.

Time for all you designers to start making better Vista themes so I can finally dust off my copy of Vista :p .

Scirwode

idas (or a mod) it'd be better to use an up to date image. Rather than one that's probably during the first builds.

Version 1.0.4 Released as of Oct 20th, 2008.

Version 1.0.4 has just been released to fix a major bug with Dwm Window images. It is recommended to download and install the new version.

Changelog 1.0.4:

* FIX: Dwm Window images would come out slightly darker due to an alpha conversion bug, this has been fixed (thanks to Kerry for reporting).

* FIX: Some Part and State names where incorrect. (thanks to Kerry and Panda X)

* FIX: A small bug with StyleHacks made some properties have a wrong color

Yes it's legit for those who are weary.

If you have questions on how to add certain parts email me at [email protected]

For those who might be wondering what all you can do, here's a little fun gathering of things I created while I had free time from bug testing and naming things for it.

Taskbar glow.

Wow didn't know you could make those kinds of changes to Vista's themes..

Again I believe there needs to be a trial version, not as many people will buy this if there isnt, and not a crippleware, a real trial version.

i would love to see something like what luna looks like after an import
What I really like to see is how XP msstyles look like in Vista.

Here you go :) only tweak is the border padding was set to 0.

As you can see it's pretty good but not perfect. It is though an excellent base to work from.
