[Official] Left 4 Dead

That was aimed at Munky >.>

So you go for the social aspect and that means 360, there, settled.

Munky: Don't diss MMOORPFFPSPAGARS, okay?

I don't buy PC games either so I took at me as well :p

@munky yeah I knows I will probably see if it runs no one has answered me question yet haha.

It won't Rappy, specs are the same as Crysis so your chances are none to minus 3.

Get the 360 version.

**** you console gamers and your FUD :p

@Rappy: By HL2 you meant the original HL2 and not its episodes right? This game's even more intensive than TF2 (in my opinion) and TF2 runs rather choppy on my laptop, where HL2 runs fine.

Yeah I meant the episodes and HL2, I have to admit I never played TF2 so can't say I know what that runs like, I am just getting the demo so I can see what its like.

Back from the demo, the picture quality was amazing (for my laptop!) the actual fluidity of the game not so much, its alright but if you have a horde running towards you the game stops

Xbox it is :D

played a bit yesterday, it was a lot of fun trying both infected and survivors in the new maps.

i also tried the campaign with 4 ppl and we had to go down to normal to finish the hospital roof top. advanced was too hard... and forget about expert. i think the difficulty level is quite good now.

Downloading right now...

****es me off that I pay 50 dollars for a game off of steam and all they can give me is 300kb/s....

I could just pirate it and get 1mb/s +...

Really, I get my full speed from Steam or other places.

Must be location wise or something else, that sucks.

The only thing I can think is everyone is buying left 4 dead and downloading so their servers are getting hammered....

But my speeds were fine on the demo when it was first released...wierd.

Im going see if i can download this at school since it will take some time on my DSL. I did a install of steam and copied it to my USB drive. At school I will copy the steam directory to a open directory and I hope it runs. Download it and burn to a DVD then delete the folder from the computer. It should work because I had a dual boot of Vista and XP (TV tuner doesnt work in Vista) with steam on Vista but I was able to run steam on XP just by going to the steam directory on the Vista drive.

Giant Bomb gave it 4/5 stars :)

Beyond its categorical success in establishing a vivid picture of the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead's biggest breakthrough is the way it blurs the lines between the often compartmentalized pieces of a modern first-person shooter. It makes for a game that's unlike any other, and while the limited amount of content is admittedly unfortunate, that shouldn't keep you from experiencing this fast-paced, nerve-wracking game.

Full reivew

On single player is the full game meant to be open from the beginning (I.E all the different chapters)? I find that weird because I'm used to unlocking each area in a game :/

I'm pretty sure they are all open from the beginning, I found it weird as well.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
