DGMurdockIII Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 (edited) I am wondering if any one want to help me with forking Gimp not just to make a a image editor for Neowin but to also improve on it the few Things I think that gimp could use improved on for starters is Printing, Drawing tablet support, tool/ brush to make removing red eye in photos, RAW file saving support, GPU (Graphics processing unit), Multi-core CPU support, social/web 2.0 support I.E (flicker uploading), butter color management. 8BF plugins support, high dynamic range imaging support , and GUI improvements. that just few of the things witch i think if the neowin community stared work on a fork of gimp it could become good and we could promote it kinda like you do shift linux and once it becomes good maybe shift linux would include it in there distro but not just doing it to be added to shift linux it can be avalbe for any os Linux 32 & 64bit, Windows xp/ Vista 32 & 64 bit, Mac.
