FarCry 2 - where are all the animals?

Yep i also saw many animals in the open, i knock down a Zebra in my jeep and shot its partner as it ran away.

As I said, I have seen animals... but the Noah's Arc pairs found running in the thick bushs just doesn't cut it. Where are my herds? And where are the more exciting African animals?

yeah. I ahve ONLY seen them in pairs besides the chickens. Would be MUCH more realistic if there were herds.

You guys do realize just beause you are in a small area of africa, doesn't mean the savannah looks like a National Geographic photoshoot. There aren't herds and animals on every square meter of africa.

lol u have a point, everyone seems to think there are kangaroos everywhere in Australia...never seen any kangaroos hanging at surfers paradise at the gold coast (chatting up the meter maids) lol

I was looking forward to this game based on the screenshots, but as soon as I saw the commercials with the arms dealers and NPCs, I thought to myself, "this is going to suck as bad as Mercenaries 2." ... so I'm skipping it for now unless someone can prove to me otherwise or I get a chance to play it somewhere.

I had a 'close encounter' with a Zebra just before. I was driving minding my own business and the silly thing darted right in front of me. :(

I saw some animals when I was sight-seeing from the jeep at the start of the game. But yeah.. they are nowhere to be seen anymore.

Check out the oasis, lots of animals there..

I was hoping to see a Lion, no luck.. There were gazelles, water buffalo and zebras though.

I took down a water buffalo, but made a mess of dressing it .... I think my knife was dull LOL.
