The Beatles finally release their music digitally - through Rock Band

Recommended Posts

It was inevitable that their music was going to go digital, so I can't be surprised. All I can say is vinyl and CDs FTW (Y) It's sad that their music is being put on some new crappy video game, but that's just my opinion.

Aren't the Beetles dead?

How would they control copyrights from da grave?

Isn't Ringo Starr a fictional character from that one episode of the Simpsons? I was almost thinking of Disco Stu for a minute

My god

Meh, John Lennon album pack please (Y)

Screw Paul, George & Ringo (N)

Wow, I sure hope you've listened to Paul, George and Ringo's solo material. That's such a dismissive and insulting comment. What do you have against them?

I suggest you brush up on the legends of music for the last 60 years (it's actually fun to learn where the roots of modern bands come from). Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the number one album of all time according to Rolling Stone. Here's a quick little tidbit, Sgt. Pepper was inspired by the number two album of all time, The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds... wouldn't it be nice, eh?

... You do know who Elvis Presley or Roy Orbison is, right? Can't wait for Rock Band: Led Zeppelin though. =P

I'm a Pink Floyd/Judas Priest kind of guy

Led Zeppelin is on my ticket as well

Bah, Lennon was the biggest jerk ever. McCartney is also a jerk. Harrison was a musical genius, but I never really was a fan. Ringo FTW!

I needa go buy the Hard Days Night's DVD... I freaking love that movie.

As for Rock Band, they NEED Back in the USSR. That would be a blast! Or even older stuff, like I Want to Hold Your Hand... OMFG, I think I'll buy a 360 just for this game.

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
