Rappy, I will ship a box to you very soon. Don't worry about its contents (it really won't matter), just make sure you open it where no one else is around, I certainly wouldn't want collateral damage.... :p

I like presents!...your saying if I open it I may not enjoy it :(

No, I'm implying that it won't matter if you enjoy it :shiftyninja:

I noticed you have Marvel in your xbox gamercard is that marvel alliance? if so I love that game but am stuck atm on the ice level with the giant ice creature lol

Ahh some of you guys are hero worshiping (and I guess this would be the right place for it). Don't get wrong. I like Samuel Jackson. I think he would be a good Fury. I still hope he is Fury.

However he has all of 60 secs actually playing him and not exactly in epic scenes. It is a bit early to say that only Jackson can play him. I have formed no attachment to Jackson as Fury based on those 60secs or so and I find it hard to believe that anyone has. There are many fine actors that could play Fury.

Yes it is. I'm trying to max out the achievements. Are you playing the game on easy? If so, and you're stuck on that part, then um.... yeah, I'll send two packages then :p

Well yeah its on easy :shifty:

I think I picked the crap team tho.

What I did was used Johnny Storm (Human Torch) most of the time since he has strong attacks that can affect multiple enemies. Surround yourself with fire, launch your enemy in the air, then use his radial blast; you can do most of this while he is flying in the air, also works against enemies with shields. Luke Cage is good as well with his radial damage punch to the ground. If you happen to get the Hero/Villain pack, Hulk is great option as well as Dr. Doom, who I would've used all the time if I had bought the pack when I first started this game like eight months ago. He can protect himself with a field that blocks projectiles and damages enemies at the same time. Wolverine is a good one to use for melee damage, especially when you build his aggression up and have your tap A repeatedly prompt. There are some really, really sad characters in this game; Blade, Spider-Woman, Iceman and Elektra come to mind. My characters are passed level 70 since I've gone through it multiple times and beat it on Easy, Normal and Hard. C'mon Rappy, you can beat it on easy... :p

FYI - Jackson gave his consent for Nick Fury to be re-designed in his likeness.....the original Nick Fury was Caucasian, the Iron Man movie version of Nick Fury portrays the Nick Fury re-design from The Ultimates #1 (March 2002). If they stuck to the original Nick Fury, Jackson would have no business portraying Nick Fury.

I knew the original was white, didn't know the new one was designed to be like him though.

Name some? Like mwpeck said the character was designed around him, no doubt has the traits to play the character, if you say there are so many, lets start naming some.

Emily Blunt rumored for 'Iron Man 2'

With Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell negotiating to play two key villains in "Iron Man 2," Marvel Entertainment and director Jon Favreau are now focusing on casting another nemesis for Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark: the femme fatale Black Widow.

Emily Blunt has emerged as the frontrunner to play the role of Natasha Romanoff in the "Iron Man" sequel. She's a Soviet super spy who doubles as Black Widow, a beauty in a skintight black costume that is enhanced by high-tech weaponry.

Blunt, whose recent credits include "The Devil Wears Prada," "The Jane Austen Book Club" and "Charlie Wilson's War," will get a profile boost when she stars with Benicio Del Toro in the Joe Johnston-directed "The Wolf Man" for Universal.

Marvel would not comment on the Black Widow casting. The Justin Theroux-scripted "Iron Man 2" will begin production this spring for release by Paramount in summer 2010.

Only the Ultimate version was designed around him. The character goes back to 63'. As far as traits he pretty much just needs to have a hard edge, intelligent, and be believable as a military veteran. I think they are going to be using him as a mission commander so action sequences involving him should be limited. He probably does need to look fit however.

Off the top of my head and I'm sure I'm missing some obvious ones:

The current "ultimate" version: Andre Braugher, Erik King, Avery Brooks, Michael Dorn, Laurence Fishburne, Denzel Washington, Forrest Whitaker (if he can make weight), Will Smith (maybe).

Classic version: DeNiro, Kevin Spacey, Viggo Mortensen, Jude Law (playing against his image), Tommy Lee Jones, Ed Harris, George Clooney, Jeremy Irons, Daniel Day-Lewis, Clive Owen, Daniel Craig.

Okay and to be clear I still like Samuel Jackson. He is my first choice. His availability just does not make or break the character much less a movie for me. And neither of us know how good or bad he might be in the role based on the very little we have seen.

I respectfully disagree with most, DeNiro would be a terrible pick, Clooney, Tommy Lee, Denzel, and Smith too.

Andre might be alright, but he's already Fantastic Four's military guy ;) Erik King, gets on my nerves, at least his Dexter character did. Brooks and Fishburne, would be good, but they seem too "professional" for the role. Ed Harris or Jeremy Irons would be good for the classic version. They have the right amount of attitude and professionalism.

I still think Samuel would be the best choice, he's athletic, has attitude, and demands respect/authority. Based on the footage seen I agree, but I'm basing it around who he is, and previous roles. When I think of the character being played by anyone else it seems "wrong" to me, like trying to jam that puzzle piece that doesn't fit into that corner spot.

Watching BSG tonight and one hit me. Michael Hogan; he already owns the uniform and eyepatch. Sew on some different patches and add some fabric dye.

Mickey Rourke isn't Crimson Dynamo but he might be Whiplash?

?That?s actually incorrect,? Downey told MTV News when asked if Rourke was being considered for the aforementioned Iron Man rogue. When pressed if, instead of Crimson Dynamo, Rourke was up for the role of Whiplash, another potential role bandied about on blogs these days, Downey had a more cryptic response.

?I can neither confirm nor deny that,? said Downey. ?Or maybe it?s some semblance of both. Here, I can tell you everything about the story except I won?t give away the ending. The nerd stuff is top-drawer security.?

News of Rourke?s possible involvement with the follow-up to last summer?s mega-blockbuster has been one of the biggest stories to hit the ?Tubes lately. After reports broke that the actor, who is currently going through a career renaissance of sorts, was being considered for ?Iron Man 2″ (but has not officially signed on to the project as of yet), he went as far as saying that he?d bring ?everything I can bring? to ?Iron Man 2″ in a brief chat with MTV News.

Eliza Dushku appeared on the Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM Radio this morning to promote her new television show Dollhouse. Things got interesting when the topic of conversation went to Robert Downey Jr and Iron Man. Dushku explained that she would love to play The Black Widow in Iron Man 2.

?They?re doing Iron Man 2, and I?m so perfect for the Black Widow character, that they just need to get into it. They need to understand? I just learned Russian because I had to play a Russian girl in Dollhouse.?se.?

I get the impression from the way she just brought it up that she?s already either put her name in for the part or possibly even auditioned for the role. Emily Blunt was awarded the role but 20th Century Fox has an option on the actress and the studio wants her to play the romantic lead in Gulliver?s Travels. Last we heard the two production schedules were conflicting and Blunt might be forced to give up the role. And if that happens, Marvel will need a new Black Widow. Eliza went to give a plea to the audience to convince Marvel Studios to give her a chance.

m:)m, yes please :)

Scarlett Johansson to Replace Emily Blunt as Black Widow in Iron Man 2?

A couple weeks ago it was revealed that Emily Blunt might have to step down from playing Black Widow in Iron Man 2 due a schedule conflict with Gulliver?s Travels. Since then Eliza Dushku tossed her hat into the consideration pool, pleading fans to start a campaign to make it happen. Unfortunately for Eliza, it seems that Jon Favreau and Marvel have bigger names in mind for the part.

EW has learned that Scarlett Johansson is in talks to replace Blunt as Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff (aka the Black Widow). Johansson has apparently met with the filmmakers and is interested in the part, and is just waiting for Blunt to officially give up the part. Blunt?s reps are still trying to make the schedules fall into alignment but Iron Man still doesn?t have a schedule or start date in place.

Aside from being sexy and a big name you can slap on the poster, Johansson doesn?t seem right for the part at all. She?s cute but not dangerous. Plus lets not forget, the last superhero film she was in, The Spirit, was just bad and was considered a bomb on every level (not that it was at all her fault? we know who to blame).

Mickey Rourke Not Doing Iron Man 2?

Mickey Rourke has told New York Magazine that it's looking like he won't be playing the villain in Iron Man 2:

But so what if ICM's David Unger doesn't look good in a dress ? at least he's battling Marvel for a bigger paycheck for Rourke for his rumored role as a villain in Iron Man 2, right? "Right now, we're not doing Iron Man 2," Rourke told us grimly.

In January, the news broke that Marvel had offered the award-winning "Wrestler" star just $250,000 to play a villain in the sequel. Perhaps further negotiations didn't go so well? Also, Rourke is now firmly attached to star in Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables, which starts shooting shortly and might interfere with the Iron Man 2 shoot.

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
    • Well I really think the repasting helped if your higher clocks have returned, maybe the next thing to look at is if there is a problem with your case airflow? I guess this because your 3080 has returned to optimal state, but is still staying too warm, which might suggest it was thermal throttling before you repasted, of which the only logical conclusion could be outside factors.
    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know by Hamid Ganji Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Image via Samsung The next generation of Samsung foldables is set to be unveiled next month at the second Unpacked event of the year. Samsung’s 2026 foldables are not expected to offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, with the Korean firm instead focusing on design refinements and conventional upgrades such as faster processors and better cameras. However, Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil an all-new passport-style foldable this year to rival Apple’s first foldable iPhone, which is expected to debut this September. Here’s a roundup of everything we know about Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices ahead of their official debut. When can we expect Samsung’s new foldables? The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series were unveiled in July, and Samsung is expected to maintain this timeframe in 2026. Based on previous reports from Korean sources, Samsung will hold its Unpacked event on July 22 in London, UK, to pull back the curtain on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series. The devices are also expected to hit the shelves a few weeks after launch. However, Samsung has yet to announce an official date. A new naming scheme? One of the most interesting changes we might see this year is a new naming scheme for Samsung’s latest foldables. SamMobile reported that since Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables this year, it has adopted a new naming strategy to simplify product identification for customers. Accordingly, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 will reportedly be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and will serve as the direct successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. The “Ultra” suffix suggests the phone could feature higher-end specifications, such as additional rear camera modules. Samsung’s new passport-style foldable is expected to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name without any suffix. This model is reportedly equipped with two rear cameras. No major changes are expected for the Flip model. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 anticipated specs Rumors over the past few months suggest Samsung is preparing several upgrades for its upcoming foldables, although the devices may continue to rely on larger batteries and faster charging speeds rather than dramatic design changes. The primary focus this year is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its wide-screen design. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here are the anticipated specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra based on previous leaks: 6.5-inch outer display and 8-inch inner display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,600 nits peak brightness Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage 4.1mm thickness when unfolded and a weight of 210g 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, 10MP or 12MP telephoto camera, 10MP cover camera, and 10MP selfie camera 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 As for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the device is not expected to be a major departure from its predecessor, although it could become slightly slimmer. Expected specifications include: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 processor 12GB of RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner dispaly and 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer dispaly 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 Samsung’s foldables are also expected to launch with Gemini Intelligence, Google’s AI suite for automating tasks in Android ecosystem. Moreover, given current memory and component costs, some Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 variants could see a price hike. Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a wide-screen design The centerpiece of the upcoming Unpacked event could be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, previously rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. This model adopts a passport-style form factor and is expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone Fold. Galaxy Z Fold 8 official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here’s what to expect: 7.6-inch primary OLED display and 5.4-inch cover display, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and 4:3 aspect ratio Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options 4,800mAh battery with 45W wired charging 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera Android 17 and One UI 9 The three new foldable phones are unlikely to be the only devices unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch 9 series.
