Iron Man 2 release date 7th May 2010

Johansson is hot, but weak for the role. I'd be pretty ****ed if they go with her. Btw, spirit sucked ass.

I'd like to see Rourke in it, but I'm sure they'll find a suitable replacement. On another note though, The Expendables is starting to sound good.

"Iron Man 2" is days away from kicking off its principal photography. Giving the latest update to the "Iron Man" sequel, Marvel Studios announced on Wednesday, February 24, that the second movie of the superhero in armored iron suit will begin filming in early April.

While speculations around the casting of this movie have been running wild, the studio's press release only named Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle as the film's cast ensemble. No words have been shared regarding the circulating casting rumors around Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, Mickey Rourke as either Crimson Dynamo or Whiplash, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, among others.

"Iron Man 2" will be directed by Jon Favreau. Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise their roles as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Pepper Potts respectively, while Don Cheadle is filling the shoes of Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes in place of Terrence Howard. Set for U.S. release on May 7, 2010, this Marvel's superhero movie reportedly will see Stark puking in a toilet while donning his Iron Man armor.

Its got RDJ so it will be great, but I do wish Howard was playing the role. Cheadle is good and all but hes too skinny and weak for the superhero status.

I wouldn't call him skinny. He's slim but my problem is that he's short.

Emily Blunt Reveals Disappointment

Emily Blunt has revealed her disappointment of losing the role of The Black Widow in Iron Man 2. She was originally first choice for the role, however her contract with 20th Century Fox from when she did The Devil Wears Prada meant that she had one more film to do with them, and they decided to use the option for Gulliver?s Travels alongside Jack Black. The filming schedules clashed, so she had to pull out of Iron Man 2.

From The Orlando Sentinel:

?I?m okay,? Blunt says with a sigh. ?Because I just have to do this Fox movie, and it?s fine and I?m gonna have fun. The whole beginning of the year has been rather dramatic, so I?d just rather go in with fresh eyes and know that I?ve made the right decision. You just don?t know until it?s all finished and done with, do you??

And telling her ?Well, the sequel?s almost never as good as the original? doesn?t help. ?I?m glad you said that, not me. It?s a little disappointing is all I can say.?e disappointing is all I can say.?

:) I'm pretty late on this, but good news either way.

Samuel L. Jackson is Marvel's man.

The actor, who just weeks ago was seemingly on the outs with the studio over reprising his role as Nick Fury, agent of spy outfit S.H.I.E.L.D., has signed an unprecedented nine-picture deal to play the character in a series of Marvel movies.

The movies include "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "Captain America," "The Avengers" and its sequels.

Also on the table is the possibility of toplining a "S.H.I.E.L.D." movie, which is in development.

Also read Mickey Rourke might be back in the picture, no source for that though, let's hope it pans out.

Oh, so you think your too good to continue the Iron Man thread. I see how it is.

haha no I just thought it expands more then just Iron Man :p unless theres 9 Iron Man sequels! :o

at the rate things are going and the problems they are having i doubt we will ever see the avengers movie hit the light of day. i mean they don't even have thor or captain america cast yet, let alone we still have no word on if ed norton will return as the hulk. what a marvel disaster!

Mickey Rourke Officially in Iron Man 2

After a lot of back and forth, Deadline Hollywood Daily has confirmed today that Mickey Rourke has officially signed on to play a villain in Iron Man 2:

I just heard that ICM has scored its second casting deal for Marvel's Iron Man 2. After at first being low-balled by the studio to the tune of $250K, Rourke has signed on for the role of the Russian villain in the sequel after his agent David Unger got the quote up to a "significant" level despite this punishing economic climate where the studios are taking advantage of talent. (No wonder Mickey kept thanking Unger so profusely in acceptance speeches for the BAFTA, Golden Globes, Spirit, and other awards.) But don't expect Marvel to confirm any of this: they won't until all the i's are dotted and t's crossed on the contracts. I can also tell you that Sony was considering hiring Mickey to play the villain in Spider-Man 4.

Director Jon Favreau will start shooting Iron Man 2 very soon for a May 7, 2010 release date

    • I think he means you haven't reviewed previous UFC games. Of course it doesn't matter... Every time you just report on something that involves the President even if just simply what happened you guys usually get accused of being anti-Trump. We live in fun times.
    • So how did you solve the problem? Disabling Secure Boot isn’t a solution.
    • Another devilish issue surrounding these certificates is what can happen with old, unsuspecting PCs that nevertheless have Secure Boot enabled. In my case, it was a Dell with a 3rd-gen Core chip (so about 13 years old). As of the last few weeks, it was suddenly BSOD'g within about 5 minutes of booting. Turns out it was because of MS's "Secure-Boot-Update" scheduled task, which is scheduled to run 5 minutes after login. It's explained in gory detail here (this is not my post, but it was where I found the answer), but the short version is that this legacy system would need fairly elaborate, manual certificate intervention since MS's automatic cert update method cannot work. How to do that is linked late in the thread. https://www.bleepingcomputer.c...od-caused-by-scheduled-task Secure Boot wasn't at all important for this particular PC, so I disabled it to be done with the problem.

Flip the new mode switcher to Builder, set everything the way you want it, and save the result as a Winhance config or an autounattend file ready for deployment on other machines. Sponsors & Supporters page β€” the exit donation dialog is gone. In its place, an in-app page (heart icon or the More menu) recognizes the businesses and individual supporters who keep Winhance free. It works offline and is fully localized. Change History β€” Winhance now keeps a receipt of everything it does. ChangeHistory.txt records every setting change (before and after values) and every app install or removal, with clear headers for config imports and bulk actions. Open it from the More menu. Hebrew language support β€” Winhance is now available in 29 languages. App-local UI zoom β€” press Ctrl +/-/0 or use Ctrl+MouseWheel to scale the whole app, just like a browser. New External Apps: EA app, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, Rockstar Games Launcher, PowerShell, and Helium Browser. Bug Fixes Layouts no longer clip when the Windows text size slider is set above 100%. Accessibility: Narrator now announces setting names on toggles and dropdowns, previously unlabeled buttons are labeled, and progress updates are announced. Silent updates now respect your custom install location instead of reverting to the default. Cancel in Review Mode no longer clears your app selections. OneNote is now detected correctly for Win32 Click-to-Run installs. Clean Start Menu applies more reliably by also writing the group policy path. WinGet errors are no longer silent β€” error details now show in the terminal output. Fixed a startup crash on older Windows builds caused by a .NET runtime regression. Config import now converts power setting values correctly and no longer re-applies an already-active power plan. Improvements App icons load noticeably faster and cover almost everything now, including legacy capabilities and optional features β€” they come from a dedicated, checksum-validated icon repository and are fetched in parallel. Software & Apps polish: per-icon tooltips, extra table columns, an app sort dropdown, relocated search, and a cleaner compact view. A warning now appears when the Connected Devices Platform Service is set to Manual or Disabled, since some Windows features depend on it.
