Scribbller Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 I lost my Ethernet card drivers a while back but I had created a driver backup in the system. I formatted my PC today and reinstalled windows but now the system has detected an Ethernet Controller but not picking up the drivers I have backed up, when I try to install the drivers manually it does not change the status of Ethernet Card in device manager it shows the Ethernet Card as "Ethernet Controller" with a yellow question mark as its icon. Its clear you have internet access (since you posted) -- so just download the current drivers, which are more than likely newer than the ones you had backed up anyway.
