I like the logo

But damn I hate linux - and dont understand why its heralded as it is.

Yeah - lets all jump on the bandwagon for some software that thinks its acceptable to do everything in a terminal, just like its 1983 -

its almost 2009 *nix users

Sorry but you really do not know what you are talking about!

You haven't used Linux for a long time, have you?

Never mind a long time, never would be more accurate!

Still he has a point.

The majority of software is still terminal/command line based.

You also do not know what you are talking about! What nonsense! Do you even know what you are trying to say? What do you mean?

I think theres a better way to put across a message of humanity to others rather than a logo for an OS which will be unknown and nondescript to most people. >.>

I can't rmember what I last used the terminal for. Whatever it was for, I could have done the same with the GUI, I just find the terminal quicker sometimes.

In some years from now maybe it isn't "unknown and nondescript". Then again it's not that "unknown and nondescript" right now. It's widely used as an OS in many areas/countries, and as a personal desktop. Hey it's his way of expressing his ideals and it's his skin... :)

I personally thing its a good tattoo.

I hate Linux, but I wouldn't kill myself if I had to get that tattoo.

As for the terminal comments.

Last time I used Ubuntu, (about 6 months ago), half the stuff (mostly trying to get my wireless card working) was done through the terminal. As was installing a bunch of programs.
