New to Vista ...

I have another question regarding folder Views , i want Vista to remember my settings for viewing folders for all of them .

i know that i can do this by going to the view tab and click apply to all folders but it seems that something is wrong cause after i made this step i found that some folder do remember and some not , so how can i do it properly ?

You are in good company. I have tried to fix that for 2 years now. Tried all kinds of "recommended" tweaks and tricks - to no avail. If anything, it got worse. Stay away from all those registry tweaks. At least the ones I tried don't work. I never reinstall my factory image because I use Norton Ghost if I have to recover. So I guess I have to wait for Windows7 and hope they provide facilities that work.
