the spam folder automatically deletes messages older than 30 days. i leave mine like that, ive got like 750 messages in there at all times haha. takes care of itself...

I always clear mine lol. Must be a habit!

My spam account sits at 4000-5000 constantly, and my personal account sits at 0, I've had less than 5 spam emails in my personal account. Who wants to give me a cookie?

I check the spam folder regularly for false positives. I've had personal emails being moved to spam once too often to fully rely on Gmail's filters.

Some people may not see the themes tab because their gmail settings are set to English (UK). Simply set it to English (US) to get the most up to date facilities.... at least this was the original technique of getting the newest features of gmail - the US language always had the goodies first!!

It is also a case of them rolling it out right across the accounts and servers so if perhaps you're set to English (US) and don't see the tab, even after refreshing, just wait patiently!!

I came home tonight to find my gmail font colour was .. blue - checked the computer beside it and it was also .. blue. HUH?? Then I refreshed and realised they had released something new! Very nice addition I must say!

Bring on custom themes! (any day now, I bet)

I sent myself an invite for gmail (from my gmail to my gmail) and once I created it I had new themes up within a few minutes. They are both set on English US so changing it isn't gonna affect anything. My main account still has nothing.
