Where is the sidebar settings?

I want to move the sidebar to my 2nd screen like I can in Vista but I can't find the properties for it.

There is no Sidebar in Windows 7, gadget support is built into explorer if i remember correctly.

If you drag all of your gadgets to the far side of your second monitor it should latch on to the side. I don't remember seeing a specific option like they had in vista.

Sidebar options are gone indeed. Gadgets do snap to the right window sides, and I think even to all sides.

In a very hacky way. Sidebar is still separate from explorer. Just has extensions in explorer to make it seem integrated.

Of course... It's still early. Although if for some reason a gadget were to crash the sidebar.exe instance, at least it wouldn't take out explorer.exe with it... So in that regard, the separate processes are nice.

if you ask me each gadgdet shoud have it own thread so if one gadget crash , nothing get affected except the offending gadget

Of course gadgets have their own threads. Many gadgets have several.

If you meant processes, they are grouped into separate host processes to help reduce the impact of a crash.
