Configuring Windows Firewall

Hello,

I have a machine on my network that i want to configure to only allow 1 or two programmes acces to the internet and stop everything else dueing a certain time of day or if a time of day is not possible blanket the ban for all the time.

Is this possibe?

I think the Windows Firewall is too limited to do that, you should probably try out a 3rd party one like ZoneAlarm.

I agree with roadgeek9. Look into a 3rd party firewall that can give you more options. I recommend Comodo.

It could be any 3rd-party firewall - it doesn't really matter.

From personal experience, Zonealarm used more resources and didn't catch as many things as other firewalls did. I'm not sure how good the new version is since I haven't tried it, but I don't plan on switching back myself.
