Lilrich Posted November 22, 2008 Share Posted November 22, 2008 Hello, I have a machine on my network that i want to configure to only allow 1 or two programmes acces to the internet and stop everything else dueing a certain time of day or if a time of day is not possible blanket the ban for all the time. I think the Windows Firewall is too limited to do that, you should probably try out a 3rd party one like ZoneAlarm. From personal experience, Zonealarm used more resources and didn't catch as many things as other firewalls did. I'm not sure how good the new version is since I haven't tried it, but I don't plan on switching back myself.
