What happened to imdb, it's been down for two days now. I can reach it by it's ip, but not by uri.

its working perfectly fine for me. but forums going down is not new to me. i have had the same experience but thankfully never on neowin. Neowin must have a good server or something. :yes:

Neowin is run on more than just one server. I think they have like 3 or 4 servers doing different things for Neowin.

Old timers who used Neowin 4 or 5-odd years ago would laugh at that suggestion considering how unstable we used to be. I must commend the Admins and the Devs for providing a vastly, vastly, improved system over the years.

Of course, 4 years ago on the Internet is back to the caveman days.

Yeah, I thought of this rule when I noticed the thread. I haven't seen it implemented recently. I think we've been too zealous in the past. Obviously a site like IMDB isn't thinking to themselves that they could save money on support costs by redirecting their problematic users to Neowin. I think it requires a conscious effect to use our server/forum space to save their costs.
