I'm really surprise everyone is taking this open beta like it's a final release. So does that mean it's done and they're just trying to figure out all the smaller bugs?

I'll download this later tonight and see you guys on there.

Nah it's far from "done".

A lot of people on NW will just take it for its day 1 value, then decide never to use it again.

Which is fair enough, they can check up on how it's progressing over the months and decide if they want to use it again.

It's been almost 3 hours since I was last on

No idea why I'm in so much rush to get back, very few of us will probably be online and even if we are there's nothing to do

Anyone want to play R2 instead?

I've got my headset now so I wanna do some Co-Op real soon.

Not tonight but, I have an exam at 11:30 tomorrow morning :/

Going to be heading off to bed soon.

By next Wednesday I'll be exam/assignment/University free, and ready to play games from then till the 28th of January which is when I go back to Uni :p

No we're treating it like the first public release, you know, like they said they would when its stable...

Oh wait  :p

@AB, I've pretty much finished up for uni now. One more test to do on Monday and thats me done. I'll be playing the hell out of this stack of games collecting the past month and then I need to revise a lot for exams in January :/

Ahhh right, good your done for xmas I guess.

I don't have any exams in January, hence why I ain't back till the 28th.

But everything is happening right now before xmas. Good in one sense as I don't need to study over xmas, crappy because I have so much to do right now without a holiday to study over :/

Yeah I prefer getting them done before xmas and then I can just relax. I've had that a few times in the past. Infact, last year at uni I didn't even have exams until May! So that was even better lol.

Good thing I suppose is I have two exams only, so it's not too much to do.

I don't start my 2nd semester until the 28th or something as well. Theres a short holiday after my exams and then classes start again!

Anyways I think I'm gonna go play Fable 2, good luck with the exam tomorrow!

Yay, finally back in. Got all the new items from the Namco arcade booth, well I met the 13 goals Audioboxer listed earlier in the thread. Currently having the same problem as DARKFiB3R, have to "redeem a code" before I can play the arcade games in Home.

Ah well, they still look cool! :)

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay real humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
    • whoosh my comment went over your head. Enjoy your notchless 3:2 OLED device
    • As a game dev, today was really depressing. They announced that Blueprints will be deprecated in UE6 to be fully replaced by their sh**ty Python-like Verse language... They also announced that 5.8 will be the last version of UE5 until UE6 comes out in MID 2029!!!! They have completely lost the plot.
