You know you've been on Neowin too long when...

Recommended Posts

When you realize that your stark naked while checking Neowin.net........

When you come to the conclusion that "is neowin right for you?"

When people ask what you do for a living and you just blantly say "NEOWIN"

Or you do emotions in real life....

When you start to Hail Neowin.net as the "Savior to all of Man kind"

...you have a nice face tan (or sun burned) because of the monitor radiation.. :p

...you install a pc behind your bed just so you can browse neowin while you are having sex

**changed second one a bit... proper english now**

Come to think of it I remember Keldyn designing a little wallpaper for me a long while back :p I probably still have it somewhere (i dunno where)... now he's just a lowly moderator ;) Gotta say though Neowin has sure changed a lot since I first came (and no that's not necissarily a bad thing) some completely random things I remember (with no explanations, just random things!): Neowin before Hosttyme, the old theme, when Tingle was still around, scoobie, faction, moretensenj (if i recall correctly he made a big stink about how we deserved what we got on 9/11), when Neobond used his real name around the site... ah the memories :p

And I just had the sudden urge to type this... I hope its not a sign of addiction :/

Keldyn

Forum Super Moderator for Neowin.net

...when your samurize script includes World News, Neowin News, Neowins Latest Forum Posts.

...when you have to stop lurking and post once a while so that people remember who you are.

...when you think you've lurked for so long that people will look at the joined date, compare it with the post count, and cast you off.

...when people who joined only a month ago have a higher post count that you already and you're damn embarrased!

...when you feel really depressed and lonely, with nothing to do, because Neowin is down.

...when you start wishing for the day Neowin lets you donate your hard earned cash!

...when you remember the weeks when Keldyn (I think it was Keldyn anyway) disappeared from the site for a few weeks and absolute panic broke out in the community - we were all worried!

...when your member number is in the hundreds (Only just mind you!)

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
