[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. Thought I'd join in this thread now! :D

I pretty much grew up watching animes, although I didn't realise it at the time! :D I grew up watching Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Shin Chan!

I've been getting in to anime again recently, mainly Ghost in the Shell. I'm currently watching the first series of Stand Alone Complex (I'm up to episode 16: "Ag2O"). I've already watched the movies before that. I'm loving it so far!

Anyone here got some recommendations for good animes? I'm mainly into cyberpunk stuff, but I'll normally try anything out! :p

I really like the Ghost in the Shell OVAs (even though I've never seen the series)

Sounds like a good idea :)

If it doesn't skip out any of the actual manga stuff then that's what I'll do.

@Radish: I'll check that out - looks really good :)

You won't I think. I don't remember very much of the fillers. I downloaded them but mostly skipped through them to see if they were even remotely interesting. Hardly any of them were.

The next Bleach episode has to be filler :(

I could almost count on that.

It was a good ep last one though, I want Ichigo to get back into the action, he's losing respect from fellow shinigami it seems.

lol, that has been the ending for the last like 3 or 4 episodes, and i think its just funny as hell.

This was a great episode. I like what they are doing with this filler. They are giving us more insight into naruto's training and jariya's bond with him. They can link this up really well with the manga if they do it right.

Yeah.. I was thinking that as well.

Where Naruto is learning the duo attack with his frog summons? I thought it was those 2 frogs who were there with him at the start of the Pain fight? I didn't really pay attention to them though.

Cause yammy lost his hand in the last battle, so before they kill inoue (or do something else to her), he want's her to regenrated his hand. Also I'm still confused about where ulquirra is going with "inoue doesn't want to be rescued" thing. Anyone else think she has feelings for ulquirra :s
man, bleach is throwing too much out at once. We have like 20203943u0293u423 fights going on now. Not a bad episode, but I'd like to feel like im making progress in the story sometime :p

Well, its better than having no fights :p.

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
    • Everything they say you can already do yourself on the registry by changing some things.
    • Artist's renderings are so much nicer to view than the real thing, don't you think?
