Yup, great chapter. Kumokage is such a badass :D Watching 124 right now, I can't wait to see some Pain action :p

There is a thing that troubles me about Naruto : Danzo has chosen Fu and Torune as his bodyguards (don't recall hearing about them before), so they must be quite strong. Then why didn't they participate in the great battles against Aakatsuki (Kizame, Itachi, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu) ? It's like the only ninjas in Konoha are those we met in the chuunin exam.

They are black ops, so they deal with secret missions and intelligence gathering. Also when the 3rd kazekage was attacked I believe the one trying to save him was these black ops.

If they're being controled by Danzo he wouldn't want them to help out. Because he wanted them attack Konoha so he could take over. Like with Sai, at first he was only there because Danzo wanted someone to watch over Naruto and convey messages to Orochimaru, who he was hoping would attack/destroy Konoha too.

I was just going thru the episodes list of some of the anime I watch, and found out 2 of them One Piece (12 years :o ) and Naruto (almost 10 years) thier manga has been around for more than a decade.

Does anyone else know of any manga or anime still ongoing for that long. I'm trying to find if there are any.

well Detective Conan has been going since 1996 and Berserk has been going since 1989....

something tells me i need a monitor with a higher resolution...

so i finished watching NGE and i have no effin clue what is going on past episode 24.

in episode 24.... shinji kills the guy, who apparently is an 'angel', then shinji crys about it a bunch, then i have no *(#@&$@$_@($ing clue what is going on after that.

something about how he imagined it all...or it was just a different world that he was picturing himself in or some BS...

im sitting here going "o good, shinji finally did something, two more episodes for the to explain what the **** has been going on"

THEN an hour of shinji being a giant tool and having more flash backs and garbage, and nothing gets explained.

whats so great about NGE?!?!

I warned you, didn't I? This is what happens when an amazing producer doesn't know what a "conclusion" means. The ridiculous references to Christianity and emo squealing all makes one of the most influential anime series ever made into some kind of sick joke about suicide and rebirth of the world.

There's nothing "great" about NGE except that it restarted the anime genre. It went from a boring, Gundam, drama universe into "real" characters that do not follow the idealistic "boy becomes powerful and feels responsible for protecting the whole word" Gundam character to characters to the complete opposite. Shinji's incessant wailing, his rage... It all is part of one of the worst anime conclusions ever made.

Do you want to know how NGE ruined one of my all time favorite anime, Kare Kano? The producer decided to use the same format as NGE in the last 6 episodes of Kare Kano and completely ruined it before quitting after having a dispute with the mangaka for the pathetic flashbacks and completely awful attempt at trying to be artistic.

If you want to cleanse your mind and follow up with a better remake of NGE, then go with RahXephon. You will not be disappointed (it's one of my favorite) since it has a fantastic story.

Hadn't heard of the live action movies. Gotta link?

I can't disclose it or I'll be warned. PM me if you want to know about the site.

This is what I was trying to warn you about

The show is just bad, I really don't get it's appeal it all. But as I said, not very many people share my opinion on NGE. The OVA's and movies don't make it any better, either. They're just more of the same convoluted...annoying characters and all. And messed up too. I'll explain further if you require.

After hearing some praise I just stated watching NGE and I was at 20, now you tell me the 24 sucks thx dude.

Anyway I will keep watching till the end, now that I am all caught up with OP, Naruto, Bleach, Canaan, QB, FMA2, Gintama (it's a short list isn't it :|)

    • JetBrains is working to cut false positives in RustRover 2026.2 by David Uzondu Recently, JetBrains released the fifth EAP build of its dedicated IDE, RustRover 2026.2, bringing improvements like a Run gutter icon for criterion_main! macro benchmarking and a feature that alerts you when there are unused traits in your current scope. Now, the company is out with a blog post addressing one of the "most common" complaints from users: false positives. In RustRover, a false positive occurs when the editor incorrectly highlights something as an error even though the project compiles and runs successfully. This mismatch flags a gap between the IDE's internal intelligence and the actual compiler. When the editor flashes red warnings over perfectly valid code, developers lose trust in the tool, which stalls momentum. Traditionally, RustRover runs cargo check to detect compiler errors and warnings, but it also relies on its own code analysis engine to power real-time features. To provide quick feedback, this engine parses your source code into a syntax tree while inferring types and resolving names as you type. Because this engine must work on broken, half-written code and react instantly, its logic sometimes diverges from the compiler's, producing false positives that do not exist in the compiler's eyes. JetBrains said that it has a "dedicated task force" focused specifically on identifying and fixing false positives by analyzing user reports and examining large-scale open-source projects. To speed up this process, the team built an internal system modeled after Crater, the famous Rust project that compiles and runs tests for every single crate published on crates.io. This automated pipeline compares the diagnostics from RustRover's analysis with actual compiler output to catch discrepancies before they reach users, ensuring smoother workflows. RustRover, for those who're unaware, is a dedicated IDE designed specifically for Rust developers. It's been around for a couple of years now, providing features like built-in debugging via LLDB, seamless cargo integration, advanced macro expansion, and HTML support. JetBrains distributes the app under two licensing models: a paid commercial subscription and a free option for non-commercial use.
    • Last year I bought the 2TB variant for $114 on Amazon. That's crazy that the 1TB is now 67% more expensive for half the storage, even with the newer T9 already on the market. And that's considered a good deal.
    • You can disable all non needed features from Brave. There is also Brave Origin which removes them entirely and it is free for Linux.
    • I wish I could use Brave but the tab suspension feature is horrible. It doesn't suspend them like Edge does. Even after 2h open with 70+ tabs (same as Edge), it has 2GB more consumption than Edge for no reason.
