[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

Also I thought Hatsukoi Limited was finished ago a while back, but I see new episodes poping up. I still haven' watched anyone of them since episode 12.

The DVD specials are not all that to be honest.

Radish?

@Radish?: I've watched Brave Story yesterday as well and I enjoyed it quite much. I was also thinking about some other anime which I've seen in the past but I couldn't grasp which one it was. And I did see the hints of Pokemon thought they wheren't that obviou:p:p It was a great anime both animation and story-wise.

I've never really watched Pokemon, but I agree on all other point:p:p

Watched the 2nd episode of Kuchu Buranko earlier. I so wouldn't like to be in that guys' position, far too painfu:rofl:l: I also love the medical commentary given by the doctor who randomly pops ou:D:D

Oh and rustix, tweet something FF:p:p

Radish?

I just finished watching Texhnolyze. It is a unique anime that attempts to explore a mature art concept of mankind's evolution and post apocalyptic future with cyberpunk, steampunk (also early 1900's mafia) influences. However, the unique attempt to execute a detailed story line to deliver this great concept fails with flawed slideshows of heavy symbolism.

6.5/10 - It is a must watch for anyone who enjoyed Shigurui and other slow paced anime that try to execute symbolic scenes with sophistication.

(Do you guys mind if I make these mini reviews in an effort to contribute to this thread?)

Anyone know what this is from?

This is from Gundam 00 I believe. This is the scene where the A-Laws are firing the "Memento Mori" at Earth.

@maskedforever: I've been putting that anime off for quite some time now. I should start watching that anime in the next couple of weeks.

I think I can speak for everyone else if I say that those little reviews are more then welcome. It helps readers find new anime series/movies which they haven't seen yet :)

Can you PM me? That would be helpful. :)

Check this NGE artwork out. (http://nik.bot.nu/img/3375.jpg) (1920x1200) I feel heartbroken when I don't find amazing artwork that won't fit my screen resolution... :\

Edit: I believe it's from Tekkon Kinkreet but I don't have the 1080p Blu Ray with me to verify. I'm betting on it though.

I don't remember the overlapping motorways in Tekkonkinkreet, though it has been a while since I watched it. Impressive attention to detail in the image regardless (Y)

Radish?

Bleach is out and with new OP/ED songs. I'm liking the new animation in the OP, not the songs though. Not a bad episode, good to see Wabisuke show himself against Kira and OMG with Kenpachi rising up at the end with manic laughter! :o :D

Radish?

Yeah, that ending is great. Maybe we'll see Kenpachi vs Byakuya? That would be a pretty epic fight.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG *jumps up and down like a little girl* :p

The new Bleach episode was just amazing. The fights were fantastic and very dramatic. Getting to see Wabiski and some of the others was a great treat. Kira's fight was bad ass. And at the end, was there not a single person not smiling and cursing that the episode was over at the same time? Just amazing.

I haven't been this blown away and into Bleach ever. This arc is just amazing, and if Bleach can keep this up during what the manga has going, we will have just a killer anime on our hands.

    • Got it. Seem like a good improvement. Thanks. But, before we "Add the source to Trusted Sites," how would know if it is trusted or not? Could get messy for not first Knowing" it is clean. See what I mean?

    • I just started using Teams (and “New” Oiutlook) at work (instead of Slack) and both are truly abysmal pieces of software.
