SHAFT are literally shafting fans of Bakemonogatari  I hope Arakawa Under the Bridge doesn't suffer the same fate :/

I just got back home from watching EVA 1.11 and 2.0 on the big screen and it was epically superb :woot: I'm still speechless after watching 2.0 and the preview of 3.0

Where was it on at?

Anime weekend at the BFI.

Going back again tomorrow (or actually this afternoon after looking at the time ) to watch Summer Wars and Welcome to the Space Show.

damn it ...oh well not missing much but silver lining...

Also if you're following Ashes to Ashes you're in for a Mindrape when you see the last ep.

You might be lucky with the anime screenings and get EVA 2.0. Like at the BFI, Manga.co.uk seem to be sponsoring it (Y)

Got to catch up with Ashes to Ashes, only watched the first series (because of Keeley Hawes ;)).

Has 2.0 been released on DVD yet? Haven't heard about it in a while.

Nope, there are licensing issues surrounding it unfortunately (for the UK at least) :/

I was too shattered to post yesterday after watching Summer Wars and Welcome to the Space Show but after getting a bit of a kip (:p) seeing both films on screen was so damn enjoyable :D Particularly the latter - I can't wait till it's licensed for release in he UK (Y)

^Exactly. It seem as if they make new versions of the previous released movie by adding extra footage for a DVD version. Pretty neat though because then you'd want to buy the X.XX DVD even though you've seen version X in theaters.

Also, I've just seen the latest episode of FMA:B and lots of things happened. I'm guessing that Alphonse has actually regained his own body which is why he's not in his armor. The ending of the episode was also pretty insane with Mustang being at the end of his rope, unable to lose even more people he loves. Though his one option of saving the one who protected his back for so long is a cruel option. Dreadful things are bound to happen in the next episode.

I honestly can't imagine how this anime is going to turn out. Which is a good thing as it'll keep surprising us with each episode that comes out (Y) :D

Cool, looking forward to watching it (Y) :D

I've put up a review on the blog :)

Evangelion 2.2 is out.

Waiting for the subs now.

They are out now. I so want to watch it again on the big screen, such an amazing experience :pinch:

    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
    • What I can't seem to understand is that Google are paying SpaceX? Surely it would be the other way round, with SpaceX needing Google's datacenters etc.? Oh well, this level of money and power is way outside of my comprehension at the best of times.
