OOOOO the new anime is out???? going to download this right now and watch it during my lunch :)

Yep it is and you should definitely watch it! Oh and check your PM too ;)

I wonder if they'll do a double episode for the Naruto Vs Pain fight?

As the manga readers will know that the fight is pretty epic, almost rivals the Naruto Vs Sasuke battle in the original Naruto.

Sadly they won't. According to AnimeCalendar they don't have any double episodes lined up for the coming month  It sure would've been awesome if they had though

OMFG! That episode of Naruto had to be one of the best rushes I've felt since the gara vs rock lee fight. Just amazing! I'm going to be in a total craze until i see the next one. Loved Naruto's entrance and the buildup to the Final Push.

Thanks for that link rustix. They seem to release theirs the same time as Horriblesubs as well, but always good to have other options when one is running late. Just like with Onemanga and BleachExile.

That's too sad. They wasted all their doubles for before the Pain fight lol. This fight really should be a double at least. Hell, this could be a movie and rule. Might just try holding off for a month and watching the whole fight back to back, but I doubt I'll have the will power to abstain from it that long lol.

I know I certain won't be able stay for that long.. I'm already too eager to watch the next episode :pinch:

No kidding. This was an epic part of the manga, and seeing it already animated this much lets me know it will be just as epic in animation. Sage Naruto looks so awesome, I wish he would stick with that outfit for the rest of the series. Show some mad respect for Jeriah.

Every episode of bleach :

:x

she made him insane xD

will... save will... save will... save will... save will... save

will... save will... save ...

what?! Dragon Ball would drag fight scenes on for 3 episodes until....o wait....its the same.

Rukia never should have gotten her powers back...worst shinigami ever.... "My plan was to draw you away from me the whole time blabablblablablblablabla.... a frozen tree bears no fruit" ..... worst.

Freeza fight is whole arch :p ~20+

Well it is a shounen animé so it's meant to generally appeal to 10 to 18 year olds not 20+.

I have to agree.

Generally there is only a few shows that both appeal to the teenager as well as the adult. Recently re-watched Ergo Proxy, it was Kingdom of Heaven Tier, not God Tier, and not Tier of the Tao.

Re-watched 1.11 today, (3rd or 4th time I think)

The bad,

1. For some reason Shinji's music player has not been updated

2. Product Advertisement, for a few scenes.

3. I think the bathing sounds (Misato) were a bit loud.

4. Lines sometimes are bit thick for 1080p. It wouldn't stand out as much if it was consistent.

The good,

1. It truly was made for High Definition. It looks amazing in 1080p. The detail level is unbelievable.

2. Everything else?

Now, unto 2.22...

Unless I feel overpowered by how much I hate/like NGE after a rewatch, I'm holding out on the entire Rebuild of Evangelion series until 4.0 comes out on Blu Ray, which would be around late 2011 or early 2012.

Well, I still can appreciate One Piece ... Nevermind, I just realized that the only thing that made appreciate One Piece was that it was very close to Fullmetal Alchemist in terms of restricting the child heroes to their roles and ensure that the 20+ year old characters are the ones in charge. When I think about it, almost all of the anime series I rated a 10+ have an older figure being more powerful than the child hero. XD

I am guessing that would be 8 hours of ROE. Then the special features.

Hopefully there will be a 1080p remaster of the directors cut of the original, death^2 true, and EOE before 2012 - you know, to fill the time.

Anyway I watched ROE 2.22 and have to say this is where it diverges, first impressions follow,

1. As expected, ROE pushes animation to its maximum, insane detail, lots of background movement, well done scenery.

2. Again product placement.

3. It has new and old elements intertwined. There is totally old, old with new, and totally new.

4. Old elements are better, it feels because of no budget constrains there is a lot more visual explanation to some things you may recall from the old series. Although no S^2 engine I think.

5. The new character is not that well introduced as others, most likely this will change with 3.0 and 4.0

6. As I see it ROE is the original vision that is unbounded by technical or budged concerns.

Just watched "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" and it was epic! The ending made me wish I was able to watch "Evangelion: 3.0 Quickening" right after it. They certainly found a way to top the series off with the "Rebuild of Evangelion" (Y) :D

I'm gonna write a review about it later today which I'll be posting on my blog tomorrow :)

Singer Eiko Shimamiya Reveals She Has Thyroid Cancer

Eiko Shimamiya, the main vocalist of the I've Sound group, revealed on her Twitter account on Tuesday that she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer on May 10. As a result, her official website announced that her "Eiko Shimamiya 2010 Live 'Perfect World'" concert, which was slated for June 20, was cancelled.

Shimamiya performed the theme songs for the first When They Cry - Higurashi television series and several other projects based on Ryukishi07/07th Expansion's popular When They Cry - Higurashi (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) multimedia franchise, including the later anime projects and the live-action film version. She also can be heard on the soundtracks of Rensa Byoutou, Shakugan no Shana, and Slave Market.

Yeah man same for me! When Naruto was standing there in the gear like Jiraiya's I got goosebumps hehe

I also finished Eureka Seven and I liked it a lot, I had some trouble understanding how all the pieces fit in, but I'm reading about it a little bit and it's making more sense, but I thought it was a really well done show with good character development. 8.0/10

This weekend I rewatched Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal. Had a friend that never saw anything Kenshin related, so after showing him some AMV's, he was interested in how he got his X scar. Such a great story and animation. Though, I couldn't help but laugh every time they did a real world image overlaid on a cartoon drawing, like it was some new high tech way of animation.

New FMA:B was just amazing as always. Mustang lost his vision finally, but I loved how they showed the relation of what was lost to what was in their hearts and all.

New Bleach should be out today, haven't checked yet, but it is the day. Should be pretty slow on action and all for a couple of episodes, until they beat Yammi and move to the Battle Royal.

I don't see how Bleach could get much better than the last couple episodes. I was stoked! :D

Does Ichigo ever go into that hollow form again? I sure hope so loll

I hope it's not the same thing as Naruto not wanting to go all out with the Kyuubi..

^ Damn, gonna watch it now :( And last night's Bleach episode was pretty poor IMO :/

Studio 4°C are animating a new version of ThunderCats :woot: They have definitely got the skill to make this total win (Y)

    • Seriously 1.8gig....so what. Any computer, if you are going to do serious work on, in 2026 should have a mimimum of 16gig and I would say 32-64gig is the way to go.
    • So again, you'd consider "I'm happy with my LG TV" to be a valid response to an article about PlayStation? I get the "I don't like any of their products" but how does that in any way invoke Linux? It just feels very random.
    • State of Decay 2, Blasphemous 2, and more join Xbox Free Play Days by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The latest Free Play Days offer has just kicked off, giving Xbox players the chance to try out a new selection of games over the weekend. The offerings this time aren't as massive as last weekend, but there are still major releases for Xbox players to jump into. This includes Undead Labs' post-apocalyptic title State of Decay 2, as well as two Team17-published titles. Two of the games being offered this time are available to all Xbox players without needing any kind of Game Pass subscription. In the fully free-to-play section, you can jump into State of Decay 2. The title is both an action survival title and a community builder, letting players choose a map, set up their base, and try to keep the growing zombie threat at bay. Cooperative play is available too. Don't forget that the studio is preparing a third entry for 2027. Next, Blasphemous 2 drops in for Metroidvania and Soulslike fans, where The Penitent One returns for another adventure. The title has tough combat with multiple weapon options, deadly traps to avoid, and platforming sequences requiring a lot of patience and timing. Keep in mind though that the offer does have a 5-hour time limit attached to it. Lastly, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can now try out the WWII-set first-person shooter Hell Let Loose. The multiplayer game offers 50 vs 50 combat in massive maps, with infantry, tank, and artillery options available for players. Here are the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on: Hell Let Loose (Xbox Series X|S, PC) State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition (Xbox Series X|S, PC) Blasphemous 2 (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, and then in the sidebar, find the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. The Free Play Days collection will show up in this area. This week's Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, June 11, at 11:59 pm PT.
