kylejn
guys with female avatars always creep me out. sorry but if you want to be a women in a virtual game i question everything about your manhood. I dunno, one could make the argument that it's actually more manly to play as a woman. After all, you're staring at your character all day in something like World of Warcraft. Might as well stare at a hot chick the whole time rather than a guy.

Take a look at the avatar the topic creator made... looks kind of creepy to me. And sorry to say, she does look a bit tranny or cross dresser to me. Ayepecks
I think it's a little bit weird to have a female avatar if you're a male, but if they talked to you before online and got along and knew you were a guy I see no reason for all of them to delete you. You said you did share e-mails and pictures with one, though, which makes me wonder if they didn't delete you for your avatar but just because the girl you were talking to suddenly decided she doesn't like you for some reason. Either way, doesn't really matter too much. It's strange to have an avatar of a different sex, but there's nothing that can stop you from doing it and there's no policy saying you have to match your avatar to you. So if you picture in your head this sweet amazon running around killing stuff more power to you. But seeing as the avatar was intended to either represent you or your personality its a little weird. its just my .02 i could actually care less either way. sn00pie
Then again these are online friends... you can only become so attached to them. Hell yes, to anyone who says having a female avatar is weird considering your a male. That's your first mistake.
DirtyLarry Veteran Posted December 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 2, 2008 Here's a thought, girls talk (Y) :p They might have talked when you weren't around and thought to themselves there is something more sinister with you dressing like a female and being much older than them. It's definitely not "normal" behaviour, even on XBL.. What I bolded sounds about right to me. For whatever reason they decided they did not like you any more. Might have been the avatar, might have been something you said and do not even recall, might have been numerous things. Whatever it was it was probably really stupid and it sounds like you are probably much better off without them. Honestly the more I think about it, the more I would think guys would have the issue with the whole avatar thing, not girls, especially if you already had talked to them before the avatars. It just does not really add up to me.
yeZi
I'm SO glad I haven't been so unfortunate to deal with ****tards like that. They act exactly the same as they would in real life. Sure you can say that you find the females to have more options, etc... but I think the general consensus of making an avatar is to make one that represents you, be it how you look or your personal style. I imagine that to be the population's mindset. Really? I actually find that they have a much smaller wardrobe to choose from. Considering like 95% of Xbox players are guys. I was just going off on what the topic creator said in the first page. Didn't try to create a female myself... you, on the other hand... why don't you take a seat over here :D j/k.
