suicide_pact
This must be one of the most actively updated programs I normally use. And since I'm still using Leopard only right now, is there still an option to not install the Yahoo, or Google or whatever toolbar they try to load when you install? BTW, to avoid any flaming, I know it's always been an option, which I appreciate. Hardly anyone uses a toolbar anymore, esp. with Firefox. lol Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/704856-ccleaner-v214763-released/#findComment-590212006 Share on other sites
suicide_pact
I seem to recall an earlier ccleaner thread devolving into a flame war on account of the fact that the installer can install a toolbar if you don't pay attention and just click through with all the defaults enabled whilst installing. I'm not complaining about ccleaner including this, the app is free and they do give you the option to not install it, so that's why I made the flaming reference. I really do like this app and it saved me a couple of times. I've had friends computers that would literally lock up when I would go to Control panel->Add/remove Programs. CCleaner let me access the uninstallers via it's gui quite easily. This is one of the first programs I install after re-installing windows.
