enter AVI

resource name is the name of the avi.... what u del b4 and will be replacing it with

resource language is 1033 for AVI

hope i explained it clearly enough... if not tell me what u dont get and i'll try to elaborate :)

Well I didn't realize it would be quite difficult to replace the avi's using reshacker, I use Restorator (http://www.bome.com/Restorator/) and there I can just drag the avi on the corresponding resource and save the file. Done. You might want to check it out.

Good luck anyway.

1033 and 1044 and other 10** under the folder are disclaiming the language of the current avi file. however this just takes effect on dialogs, menus and strings, not avis. the filename is the number on the right of the open folder, in ur case has the avi the name "165".

to replace this file u just have to rightclick the ressource, choose "Replace Ressource...", click on "Open file with new ressource..." and select the avi u want to replace with the current one. in the following dialog it says

Ressource Type

Ressource Name

Ressource Language

in ur case u have to type following:

Ressource Type

AVI

Ressource Name

165

Ressource Language

just leave this one blank, Ressource Hacker will use the Language from the old file

hope this helps a bit
