Man Says God Ordered Him to Ram Vehicle at 100 Mph

SAN ANTONIO ? A man who rammed his truck into a woman's vehicle on a highway early Friday told authorities he crashed into her while going more than 100 mph because God told him "she needed to be taken off the road.&quot:blink:k:

The truck rear-ended the car on U.S. Highway 281 and both vehicles spun across a median before coming to a stop along a barrier in the opposite lanes.

The drivers suffered only minor injuries.

"He just said God said she wasn't driving right, and she needed to be taken off the road," Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kyle Coleman said in the online edition of the San Antonio Express-News. "God must have been with them, 'cause any other time, the severity of this crash, it would have been a fatal."

The pickup driver did not tell police how the woman was driving. Police could not find evidence that alcohol or drugs were involved.

A psychiatric evaluation has been ordered for the man.

No one seemed to have a problem with God telling Abraham to climb a mountian kill his son... but now when God tells people to do stuff we call them insane or mentally deficient... the mechanics of religion are awesome aren't they?

It isn't about God telling people to do or not to do stuff. It is about when is it convient to use God for our own devices.

P.S. Looks like he passed his test of faith... ;)

They cant actually charge him with anything if its following his believes ?

yes he believes in a imaginary being which he calls "god" he should definitely be locked away :D
