The 6 Most Retarded Gaming Consoles Ever Released

wrong the GameGear was actually a portable Sega Master System (there's even an adapter that would allow Sega Master System games to be plugged in the GameGear)

yeah, but with sega having different names for their cosoles all over the world, I don't know what is what, and I was a nintendo kid back then, like most europeans :p

Format: North American name = PAL name

Sega Genesis = Sega Mega Drive

Sega CD = Sega Mega-CD

Sega Genesis 32X = Sega Mega Drive 32X

(everything else should be the same)

I won't get into the various "generations" of the Sega platforms either... You can check that out at http://www.vidgame.net/SEGA/SEGA.html if you really want to know more (it uses the North American names).

The Final Fantasy titles are a lot more confusing than the Sega platforms (before Square[soft/-Enix/etc.] went back and filled the gaps), but that would take far too long to fully explain. ^_^
