Well Peter Moore who was ex Head of Sega of America did jump over to Microsoft, the 360 is the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast.

I keep forgetting about this guy lol. But your right if he's behind the success idk what will become of the next Xbox. I mean when you think about it the 360 did everything right (RRODs are an exception).

Half Life was born a PC franchise and will always primarily remain a PC franchise.

It being released on the Dreamcast to greater success/more officially would not have caused the Dreamcast to have sold the 130-140 million units the PS2 has today.

Never released but a copy intented for review did leak out. Oh and yes the DC was much better imho love it along with the Snes, 2 of the finest consoles ever.

Sega had hardly any third party support left
The PS2 easily has one of the best game libraries

Ofc it does when its given the support, lets not forget also much like ps1 it had a vast array of shall we say less than sub-playable games released in fact the mass majority that can be kinda true. Mainly the IP`s and ofc others but it did get a hell of a lot of naffware, quick releases for coin.

This was never released, not even to reviewers IIRC. After the project was cancelled, a release candidate was leaked online.

And yes, DC > PS2. Graphics were clean and crisp.

I agree the Dreamcast was a great console, though I personally would compare the Dreamcast to the newer consoles (360, PS3, Wii)... I have no idea why, but the Dreamcast just seems that great. Then again, that was also the last console on which I played a Sonic game that I really enjoyed... Sure, SADX was OK, but it just didn't feel the same... *sigh* I'm gonna go play some Sonic games now...

The DC hardware was better than the PS2's? So games like Metal Gear Solid 3 were possible on the dreamcast?

I looked up the specs, and while the PS2 has the hardware advantage, the Dreamcast has an experience advantage. A game like MGS3 would never have been on the Dreamcast anyway. SEGA was always about family entertainment back then. The most brutal of the games released for their platforms was probably the Mortal Kombat games...

The PS2 has its place; that is where the tear-producing games, the bloody games, the games that let you kill for sport, etc. all belong.

The Dreamcast? It was just fun!

      Anybody that thinks flying cars were possible are idiots. Everyone would basically need a pilot licence, can you imagine how insane and dangerous that would be, people can barely handle driving on land safely right now.
