lol i remember playing resident evil code veronica on DC (2 GD ROMS!), it was the first RE to have a moving camera! and the DC's VMU was used as your heartbeat/health bar! was quite fun

Piracy played a big part in the DC killing. The fact that you could just burn a game to a cd-r and play it without any mods/chips made piracy extremely easy and widespread.

You needed a boot disc to play imports/cd-rs. Had one before i got my DC chipped.

yeah the utopia boot CD, but then people worked how to burn a patch onto the burnt game CD and that worked without the boot CD!

Ahh yes, Dreamcast. My favourite gaming machine. Toy Commander, Re-Volt, Sonic Adventure..... *drools*. It's too bad I sold mine or else I would still be playing on the MU's. :D

It did get released but it was VERY rare and impossible to get hold of.

Awful awful loading times, but to be honest, it wasn't complete.

Damn that just made this whole topic "pointless" :laugh:

Obviously didn't sell that great on the PS2, and it had a much larger install base than the DC.

I bought it for the PC.

Never had a PS2 when I first tried Half Life.... The PS2 wasn't even out.

When you think about that would made allot more sense. I mean they did make a docking station for the iomega zip100 drives.
