Official Vista SP2 Beta build #

Since MS hasn't released the beta of SP2 to the public (as of this writing), I'm hoping to be able to grab a copy off of the torrent networks. Problem is, there are plenty of leaked ones from back in October, but I don't know if it's the same build that is supposed to be released today.

Anyone with an MSDN or TechNet subscription that grabbed the beta able to confirm the build number for me?

Hmmmm, the prev build from Oct was v113. Sigh I just may have uninstalled for nothing if the public build is the same.

well i would say its the same build because the build lab contains 081017 which means 17th Oct 2008

I just used the registry thing and all the documentation shows cpp .

I'm not entirely sure what you hope to achieve from installing a Beta Service Pack but hey. Best of luck and supposedly the registry trick is the best one at the moment.

MS finally released the download for the public. Well, tried, at least. Site seems to be having some issues. Anyway, I d/l'd and installed the October release from Usenext and it is the v113 one. IDK any noticeable difference yet, but I'm happy to have the latest and greatest.
