Heroes Volume 4 : Fugitives

Recommended Posts

Unlike most it seems, I don't hate Claire at all. In fact, I've found her quite interesting over the past volume. Be nice to see her grow up a bit now for volume 4 some more. Kicking that guys head in was a start :D

I would have loved to see Ando supercharge Peter when he had all his abilities. Man that would have been sweet to see. Or Ando upgrading nuclear guy from season 1, hehheh.

Its not that I hate Hayden, its that the Claire character does the same things over and over. How long has she been whining about Sylar? About what her dad does? About needing to be 'more'?

Its the same thing. Over and over.

Yes, horny little boys like you enjoy watching her and Hayden. I get it.

No, you DON'T! I actually am NOT even a huge fan of Hayden. (And certainly no Boy!) :|

I believe Ali Larter is MUCH better than Hayden!

I like GOOD acting/plot too, but what you DON'T get is that 1 or 2 person just Doesn't ruin the show.

This is a emsemble cast! We got Peter, Sylar, Matt, Hiro, etc all in it.

It's NOT just a Hayden or Ali show!

Ali Larter IS Hot/Sexy, let's give her credit for that...

The show's execs doesn't want to get rid of her, CLEARLY means a lot of fans are huge fans of Ali Larter (Or Hayden it seems)

So, Getting rid of them, really, would send the show into Death EVEN FASTER!!!

Nah, I won't give her credit for that because I don't believe it.

They don't want to get rid of her because of everyone on the show, she has the most recognition. Getting rid of her, and Hayden, would be a huge plus in my book, and probably many other fan's book because of how bad their characters are. I liked Nikki's character, small woman with super strength, but they had no idea what they wanted to do with her, so they had her die only to not have Larter go by including the test tube story. If Tracy dies, keep an eye out for Barbara

Don't worry, nobody is gonna die in that show. Simply because the writers don't have the balls to do it. And many here think a few characters should die or should have been dead already. But we had two seasons (S02 and S03) and a bad final episode (S01E23) to understand that.

Actually the S1 stroyline of her split personality was quite good as you never knew when she would go off and rip everyone to shreds. I also thought the DL & Nikki combo was good. If you want an example of bad writing it is DL's story in S2. I think that was probably the worse story arc. Let's see, he survives and then chases Nikki and then just gets shot and dies for no reason.

Thats only one episode though, DL's story in S2.

+1

I don't find her attractive at all and I cannot stand her acting. Nothing she does is believable to me. Same with Claire. I rewatched the last episode of Volume 3 last night (catching my roommate up) and I was reminded yet again of how much I cannot stand Claire.

Did Peter's powers get weakened (nerf'd)? So far he has apparently needed physical contact for the acquisition of powers...

Well he lost them, so he got them back by taking the injection but its a different type of empathic mimicry to what he had before.

is that totally confirmed?

They definitely tried to emphasize the need for physical contact for Peter to absorb powers...

The argument that has since come up is whether or not he can only mimic one ability at a time, or whether he has the same ability he had before, except he needs physical contact to absorb the new powers

Nothing is totally confirmed, I guess we'll see more as the series goes on... the first part of my statement is almost for certain as it was intentionally shown and highlighted in the show. What his power exactly is remains to be seen

is that totally confirmed?

No it's not confirmed but evidence up to this weeks episode showed its different, he has to touch them like he did with mohinder/tracy, the thing we know is that he did lose them when Arthur took his ability so what he has is different in a way.

    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.

    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
    • Interesting read. I knew the adware was quite controversial at the time, however never realised to the point The Guardian wrote an article about Patchou. I just said no and enjoyed his creation, I’d probably be a lot more wary of something like that today though.
