January 2009 Desktops

There's an awful lot of Windows 7 users. If the trend continues Vista is going to die out as quickly after the release of 7 as Windows ME died out after the release of Windows XP.

I can't find a download link... send me your email address and I'll get it to you

Any way I can make my Vista desktop look like that? Specifically the bottom area of the desktop! :D

Not sure... I've never really used Vista. I believe dragthing is available for Windows, so you might look into that (it's used for the dock in the bottom left). date/time is geektool, but I'm sure there is something for that in windows, maybe even just a widget that would require a bit of customizing. The mail icon is also a mod of an apple widget, but I'm sure you could fid a yahoo widget that would work.

What is the name of the dock icons, I sued to have those but forgot the name. And do you have the running indicator and the background used for the whole thing (dark blue bar at the bottom)? Thanks!

Edit: I just checked and it seems as if though Dragthing is Mac only, but I use ObjectDock so I will probably just customize that to look similar to it.

For those that want that black wallpaper up there, here's one I made 1280x1024. Just svaed his desktop image and cropped it so it had no taskbar in it.
