Gotta change the wallpaper since Christmas is over, but gotta wait till some of you start posting your sweet wallpapers for me to use :D

I do have one question, I wanta go back to Firefox.. But I have gotten sooo used to chrome's look/layout, and I know I have seen alot of people having their firefox look just like it.. Can anyone point me to the right direction of finding all the addons/styles/whatever else I need in order to make it look like chrome?

Thanks

Seems to be Windows. Unless conky is reading "C:" and "D:" from the .wine directory. :shiftyninja:

P.S. How is Xubuntu treating you?

so far so good, alot faster than ubuntu was. it's just weird because i have a pretty fast laptop so i shouldn't of had any issues.

cough * Domz * cough

copiers

If you want me to upload all my wallpapers (about 1GB) just ask :) .... Although I'd need someone to host them because i really cba making multiple archives then putting on rapidshare or something.

Ubuntu 8.10 with AWN and Discovery icons. GTK Theme is Nodoka Gilouche, very cool :)

Oh, and if compiz is a bit much for you, just try the metacity compositor (Gconf: apps --> Metacity --> General --> compositing_manager) - doesn't have any 3D effects, but adds shadows and, more importantly, let's you run compositor stuff like AWN.

Here's, not much different than default, though I am still experimenting with customization. Still can't figure out how to change icons properly :p

Download icon sets from gnome-look.org save to desktop, install in desktop properties under theme tab, by clicking on install button.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out, thanks.

I know you figured this out, but just a hint -- file extensions mean next to nothing in linux. They are only a hint to the user at what the file is. Three files, test, test.sh, and test.wtf could all do the exact same thing.

    • Isn’t it so sweet Microsoft after so many years of neglect, they admit to these issues in Windows lately? Doesn’t this just make you wanna run out and meet them halfway to give them a warm hug only? Just gives us this warm fuzzy feeling thinking about it. /s
