But I have gotten sooo used to chrome's look/layout, and I know I have seen alot of people having their firefox look just like it.. Can anyone point me to the right direction of finding all the addons/styles/whatever else I need in order to make it look like chrome? Thanks you know this is a linux only desktop thread right ? is that linux or vista ? by the way heres my updated xubuntu desktop

MrFuji
Ubuntu 8.10 with AWN and Discovery icons. GTK Theme is Nodoka Gilouche, very cool :) Oh, and if compiz is a bit much for you, just try the metacity compositor (Gconf: apps --> Metacity --> General --> compositing_manager) - doesn't have any 3D effects, but adds shadows and, more importantly, let's you run compositor stuff like AWN. Daninku
Too bad I can't get AWN to work. I just click and it won't launch.
KitCh
Too bad I can't get AWN to work. I just click and it won't launch. If you run "avant-window-navigator" (i think the command is) in a terminal what's the output and maybe we could fix the problem for you?!

Titoist
Download icon sets from gnome-look.org save to desktop, install in desktop properties under theme tab, by clicking on install button. what file extension should it be when installing? Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out, thanks. Edited January 14, 2009 by Titoist
rson451
what file extension should it be when installing?Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out, thanks. I know you figured this out, but just a hint -- file extensions mean next to nothing in linux. They are only a hint to the user at what the file is. Three files, test, test.sh, and test.wtf could all do the exact same thing.
