Post Your iPhone Theme

Recommended Posts

if you go the sections in Cydia, go to themes for springboard, and download a theme from there... once done, go to winterboard and check mark the theme you have just downloaded...springboard will restart.. and your new theme will be present...

Hi, I'm new to this theming thingie. So i hope someone can guide me.

I have already jailbroken my phone. I am on 3.0.1 on a iPhone 3GS. I know i need Winterboard am i right and whats next? And do i have to download new icons for every new app i install?

Wow. Love that lock screen. What is that?

it is a heavily tweaked Gruppled theme for lockinfo, took me about a week to get it looking the way i wanted hehe

Dear God that is sexy! I already have glasklart but not the lock screen. Will that work with Ipod Touch 1st gen?

I'm really not sure mate. It's worth a try.

Here are some more screen shots I grabbed from so somewhere else.

If you need any help on it just let me know....

Springboard: made a glasklart liveclock skin from lcd 2 skin hid icon text

Theme: Glasklart 2.7

Springboard: Glasklart Iphone Dockflow, LiveClock, Five Icon Dock, Live Calandar (all are on cydia)

Lockscreen: Lockscreen info with a heavily edited Gruppled theme http://macthemes2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...6794932&p=1

A lot of people have asked me how to get thier iphone too look like mine here are some rough instructions and the edited theme files to get you started.

Open up cydia, install these programs first:

Winterboard

Five Icon Dock

Glasklart

Glasklart Dockflow (should be automatically installed with Glasklart)

Glasklart Weathericon

Liveclock

Lockscreen Clock Hide

Lockscreen Info

Weathericon (should already be installed with Glasklart Weathericon)

60 second lockscreen

openssh

Extended Preferences (gives you added options to add your name to the status bar and get rid of your carriers name)

once those are installed, ssh into your /Library/Themes/ directory and copy over "Glasklart 12h.theme" and "Glasklart LockInfo.theme"

go into winterboard and enable the themes you want, move everything above the main glasklart theme to make sure they will show up like the glasklart lockinfo theme should be above lockinfo and glasklart. it might take a bit

of moving things around to get it the way you want it too :)

To get the dock to work on an iphone put these icons in order from left to right Camera, Messages, Phone, Mail and Ipod

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
