Bit hard to in German :p

This may be interesting to some of you.

I'll await for WHQL version I think, unless I am given a reason otherwise.

"working" is not enough for Win7... Do they use the new WDDM 1.1 (Win7 display driver model) or WDDM 1.0 (Vista display driver model)?

I wonder if this improves performance in GTA4 even though I know a lot of the game is CPU restricted.

My C2D E6750 is holding my GTX 260 back, so frustrating :(

I think these made my performance in left 4 dead worse :\

Possible, they're beta drivers.

Did you enable the ambient occlusion feature? If so, that's why you're experiencing decreased performance. It puts more stress on the GPU.

Surely not if the game etc. isn't utilizing the feature?

No I have it disabled because I didn't notice any difference in graphics with it on.

I don't believe any games etc. will take advantage of it on the consumer-side just yet.

    • Can confirm, I've built stuff for others and no complaints using their products.
    • Yes I agree, it's annoying. You can now miss tabs unless you point low enough.
