how much sleep do you get ?

During normal working weeks I tend to sleep for about 6-7 hours (with the odd interruption) - and my body really gets into the routine so I find it hard to break it even on the weekend. Over the christmas break it slipped a bit and I was getting 8-9 hours some nights! It's funny but more sleep makes me feel more tired.. I'm ready to get back to my normal working routine again.

6.5 hours during the week (12-6:30), I'm normally knackered by Friday but always find the energy to party all night then sleep around 12 hours on Saturday (normally during the afternoon as I tend to stay up all night and most the morning saturday enjoying time with friends!), and then around 10 hours on saturday night/sunday morning.

When I've no reason to get up I always sleep around 10 hours.

My poor brother works shifts, often nights, and therefore has load of problems with sleeping as he works days some weeks and nights others. He frequently can't sleep and feels overwhelmingly tired, so I don't feel too bad not getting the 7-8 hours recommended (I think that everyone's bodies work differently anyway, so generalisations are to be taken with a pinch of salt).
