you guys know you don't need keys to install...You just need a key within 30 days.

To those who have already installed: Did you say that you can upgrade from Vista and it will automatically allow you to either boot vista or 7?

If so, would this work on boot camp?

Maybe its time for a 'Windows 7 installation' thread, take a load off this one.

So the guys who go to DL this...you registered and now are waiting for keys via email?

Mine just finishing D/Ling. I think most, if not all, people who have it have used the direct (well, through the downloader) link, as opposed to completeting the form and getting a key.

Nobody seems to have a key yet, and few have cleared the registration or whatever it is.

Will I be able to create a dual boot for Win 7 x64 and XP x32?

Just make a new partitions and install win 7 on it, it will automatically add the win 7 entry to the boot menu. It's REALLY easy and this question has been answered 50 million times. google.

I doubt that exact question has been asked 50 million times, and there probably isn't much info on google considering Windows 7 Beta is just officially coming out today.

It may have been possible with Vista, and there may have been 560 million ?'s about it, but AFAIK that doesn't necessarily mean it will work with Win 7.

A big thank you to the people with answers. :)

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
