They will change the limit because there has been a phenomenal request! Microsoft was not prepared as always.

Hopefully they do that, but I will believe it when I see it. What I really want to know is how many keys have already been claimed and how fast. This might be something they will not tell us until a few weeks from now.

Earlier this morning, you could easily get it. But most didn't know and were at their work/school.

Now, its either C4C or you have to wait until the servers are fixed.

That is not true for all of us.

Yesterday 12:00 (Pacific Time) I got in a couple of times but the site crashed on me.

Now, during the last 15 hours I cannot enter...

Microsoft really misjudged the situation here, I hope this is not a bad omen!

1 - Fill in a wrong key when you install Windows 7 (64 & 32).

2 - When instalation is complete, go > Control Pannel > System and Security > System.

3 - Here you see "Activate in 3 Day's" Clik activate now.

4 - Here you can select "Activation via phone".

5 - Cal the free local Microsoft number.

6 - Follow the instructions from the "digital" operator!

7 - Windows is activated!

I don't know what's more disappointing, that someone with 2 posts got a key or that this check4change isn't WORKING.

Check4Change IS working. You just don't have the patience. :)

i need 1 .D

You and several million other people, quite a few of whom have been members of this community a damn sight longer than a lot of newbies who are only here for the key, and won't be back afterwards.

What makes you special?

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
