Art, I've been check4changing for the past hour with people just saying 'in 15 minutes I got a key' and crap like that and then a person with 2 posts gets a key because Neowin was taking long to load after the reply. But still, I'm just going to wait till Check4change actually works, am I doing something wrong loading at 5 seconds?

1 - Fill in a wrong key when you install Windows 7 (64 & 32).

2 - When instalation is complete, go > Control Pannel > System and Security > System.

3 - Here you see "Activate in 3 Day's" Clik activate now.

4 - Here you can select "Activation via phone".

5 - Cal the free local Microsoft number.

6 - Follow the instructions from the "digital" operator!

7 - Windows is activated!

Hi all ...

I know I've just joined your community, but I've been a loyal reader and such for quite some time now. I don't want to step on anyone's toes or break any rules, so I won't post any links here. I will however mention that .... if you have been 1 of the many unfortunate people (such as myself) who did register and log in to get the key(s), and were as yet unsuccessful, I'm pretty sure they are probably all gone by now. This leaves us with 1 unfortunate alternative ... merely google the name orbit30, and follow the links provided. He has made a wonderful little app day's ago that will solve all these tedious problems with the activation and such. He is also a well respected person on other sites/forums, so his files/app's are in no way malicious or bad in any way. I did try skimming through most of the pages on this post to see if someone has already mentioned anything to this effect. but the post is seriously HUGE :p

As I stated, I don't mean to break any of your rules here, so please delete this post if it is not deemed appropriate.

Many Regards

Go ask Orbit30 who helped him :D

    • How backwards can you have it? Yes, Linux was gaining because of Linux handhelds and the push for gaming compatibility, but that's not desktop users, it barely converts anyone who owns a SteamDeck, though it helps for those who wanted to do it, but anyways, the AI+RAM debacle helped Linux because people can't easily upgrade their PCs easily and many hate AI so they'd be incentivized to try Linux.
    • 🤦🏻‍♂️ No, expected because 10 EOL
    • Dude, it's a .reg away from a permanent modification. If you're a power user, look it up and keep the .reg and stop being a crybaby expecting MS to include customization for everything on a generalist OS. The default is what's the best UX for the majority of the userbase, non techie people.

It lets you map specific actions and shortcuts to speed things up, and Logitech has such a device for you with a big 20% discount. Right now, you can save $40 on the Logitech MX Creative Console. The MX Creative Console is an unconventional accessory that consists of two modules. One module has nine customizable buttons, with each having a built-in display for mapping. You can assign apps, shortcuts, actions, or something else. There are nine buttons, plus two more for switching between "pages" of actions. The second module has no displays.
