Lovell
The system requirements are bollocks, the game looks like **** yet still runs about the same as gta 4, but it's a fun game to play.
Pupik
Only runs ****ty when you drive fast. Otherwise, it's a lot smoother than GTA 4 and I didn't encounter any bugs or pop-ins. Also the game is a lot more fun than GTA IV. Wasted on it 23 hours without even noticing and I only finished the main stories and bought everything. Still got th side missions for entertainment and no stupid friends to bug me to get a drink, or play bowling with them in middle of them.
Malskazz
Horrible performance when you look at the graphics.. But one thing is certain; Much more time and fun in this game than GTA
Sethos
Heard it performed even worse than GTA IV. Tried the game on the 360 and it stunk, impossible to enjoy after I tried GTA 4. The handling of the cars really ruins everything.
Malskazz
Yeah Sethos, altho i'd say you quickly settle in with it..
Sethos
Considering it's the same rubbish handling in the first Saints Row, I completed that game and never got used to it.
Pupik
I got used to it pretty quick. You only have to use the hand brakes when you turn (even a slight turn) and you're set.

Sethos
Before I'll make a fool of myself by misjudging you, I'll ask a small question; For how long did you tried the game? As I just said above, I completed Saints Row 1 and that took quite a while. The handling is EXACTLY the same in the second game, just some new vehicles. Feels like driving a Go-kart with ADHD. You don't feel like the car is building momentum, slowly shifting up. You don't feel like driving a heavy car, just a toy which reaches maximum speed in no time with little effort. The way they turn is a joke as well. They are so boring and lame to drive and killed the game for me. I only played Saints Row 2 for a couple of hours, alone and some free-roam with a friend even that wasn't fun, he also went on about the crappy handling. That's how I feel too, personally when I played GTA:IV I hated the driving but when I play anything else the driving doesn't come anywhere near to the realistic feel of driving in GTA:IV. cropcircles
Not impressed with this game so far. Real herky-jerky movements and AI is lame. Too much GTA here for me to handle.
StealMySoda
You think they would have learned from Rock* that people don't like games that perform badly :p Guess I'll wait to see what the general view on this is before I pick this one up. chaos mage
I think I'll pick this up. I just played a bit of SR1 and it rocked. I didn't really feel like I was having much fun in GTA4 personally. PC or 360 is the only question for me...hmm.

If you enjoyed SR1, you will enjoy this one even more ( Get the FBI SUV or Teh Bear and you'll understand). Those who are complaining about the "arcade" feel of SR2, i think you haven't understood the philosophy of this game ... It's pure FUN :)

kazuyette
Too bad it just isn't. Can you elaborate a little bit more ? I own it ( and GTA4 too BTW ) and finished it and I enjoyed every minutes of it. Some cut scenes are so cool and over the top; that's the point of this game. SR2 doesn't need to be taken seriously (unlike GTA4 which I don't like but that's not the point here) to be enjoyed. Sethos
I just don't find the game fun. Driving around bumper cars, shooting weapons that feel like nerf guns and a story that I couldn't even be arsed to follow ... where's the fun in that?! Oh yeah, you can dress up in "funny outfits" and spray manure with a truck, that's great ... Just because something is over the top doesn't mean it's automatically good. The game is dire and my kinda fun comes from games I can immerse myself in.

But not every game can please everyone, right ? ;) That's why there's GTA and SR.

Malskazz
I like how Saints Row is so amazingly unrealistic and weird.. its much more entertaining on longer sight than GTA4.. GTA4 is awesome graphics wise and the story is exciting to. But unlike GTA San Andreas, and Saints Row, you cant customize your character for ****, and you cant own zones and become stronger and stuff.. Thats why i like Saints Row, theres a lot more to do all the time.. Still the performance is horrible and the handling could be alot better.
