I just finished the Pilot episode today. And as of today, I am a Firefly fan.

Um, do I watch Serenity after Firefly?

Yes, save the movie for last.

I watched the series after watching the movie. Helped me realize some things about the movie that I was confused about.

I'm all for a second movie, definitely.

I too have seen the movie before the series. However, I did it knowing that the series existed. It was one of those things where you say to yourself "I'll watch it later". As a true Firefly fan, I watched the movie again after the series and it was 100 times better.

I think everyone is, they would make good money on a second one, that's for sure.

I think so too. The question is, what would it be about? The collapse of the Alliance? The rise of a new power? Perhaps an alien encounter or war. Whatever it is, I'd be more than happy to watch it.

Oh me too, I'm sure Joss could come up with something good.

The thing about Firefly is they could go anywhere with it, the story could remain solid after a few seasons, if it wasn't cancelled. It's such a unique sci-fi world.

Awe crap I've watched all of them over lots of times, anyway.. :) The best Sci-fi series to date as far as I care.. :) Just my $.02. :)

You nailed it! That's exactly why I love the show. It isn't as "flashy" as other sci-fi shows like Star Trek or Star Wars. It's more realistic than that. To be honest, I think a Firefly-like future is quite likely. I just hope it wasn't Joss Whedon's intention to finalize the show with Serenity. Anyway, it seems that the cast are ready to make another movie but no studio is willing to take on the project. And according to this, it's been like that since the October '06.

This is more the same but it's recent: http://www.sliceofscifi.com/2008/08/14/jos...uel-on-the-way/

Who knows though... Blu-Ray sales might change that.

Its not that I dont like scifi (I really like the original Star Wars movies and a lot of cyber punk ones too) its just that I always hear about how good this is and I feel like I am missing something.

Can anyone explain to me why do you like it? I saw the series on Fox years ago and it was just "meh" for me.

Trust me, I felt the same way about the show. It wasn't until I watched the movie and then the episodes that I truly enjoyed it. You're really missing out. It's one of the best sci-fi shows out there. Heck, I think it's the perfect sci-fi show for people who aren't even into sci-fi shows. The show just feels so human. It really isn't "flashy" like other sci-fi shows/movies. And the characters are just perfect in their own way. That's why I love the show.

Dude, you inspired me to watch the show. And I frickin' love it. Thanks! :p

PS: I had no idea Neowin had so many Firefly fans.

PPS: I got my friend hooked on it. He loves it!

It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
