'Print Screen' never includes the mouse cursor - not in Windows 7, nor in any other Windows version.

You'll have to use special software, or paste a pic of the cursor into your screenshot.

Wait, didn't realise that Windows 7 hides the cursor. I'm not sure then..

XP hides it too and so does Vista if I remember correctly.

The PrintScreen method doesn't include the mouse cursor. The best method I know is to manually add it. I'd edit a cursor for you but Adobe Photoshop CS3 is crashing a lot. I'm sure someone else can do it. All they'd have to do is make the background transparent which shouldn't be too hard.

depending on what you are doing maybe report a bug etc or a screen shot of a error message etc could try Problem Steps Recorder.

Type psr in the search box.

Great tool for troubleshooting, it outputs a file in you can view in Windows Internet explorer - shows mouse pointer.

it's not a bug, don't waste MS's and everyone else's time by reporting it.

Primexx who said it was a bug user wanted a way to record screen shots psr does this.

For your info it outputs a file you can use you dont need to send to microsoft

Its a handy tool for anyone to use and see https://www.neowin.net/news/main/09/01/11/w...corder-overview

PSR.exe compresses the images. I need full quality images =)

SnagIt allows you to include your cursor in screenshots but it isn't free. It's well worth paying for though if you take lots of screenshots.

I agree, it also lets you record video with the cursor included. Great for teaching how to do things. Here's an example of one I made a long time ago with Snagit.
